Think thats what is limiting my up travel. Mine is a touch too long. Simple fix if i would just do it.

This set up is what the guy at the shop had on his sponsered rig, doesnt limit flex since the bars can rotate ad much as they need to and the creeper joints can also move around if need be, im just glad to be rid of axle wrap lol

Just because it was a "sponsored" rig doesnt mean its without faults. They build stuff just like us. Trial and error. Use the best info you have and try it. Not saying i know anything, because i dont. Lots of "professional" shops dont know jack about some things.

Well he did show me his old traction bar set up (ladder bar) and the bushing ends were all oblong and it had been welded together a few times, told me about ripping his axle tube at the mounts and spining his tubes with the ladder bar mount, said hes been running this set up for a long time now and hasnt had any prolems with it. Hes running around 550hp in it so i doubt im gonna break mine lol

When you go spring over the axle will twist up with the torque when getting good traction. That will break driveshafts. Traction bars keep the axle from twisting and keeps u joints alive. You dont need to worry until you add hp and spring over.

Wait, what? So Walmart says you cant work on it in the parking lot, which makes sense, so you take it to the dealer? Two questions arise here. One, why is Walmart your only apparent location to work on it, and two, why would your first choice of service center be a dealer?

Dude I met you less than a month ago and your rig has been down what maybe 3 or 4 times for various reasons in that span? If you think it's useless that's fine. But for a young man with a less than reliable daily driver.......it can come in handy. And don't think most of us haven't been there.

Didn't know you were on a trip that is a different story than being in town and having it towed home. Where are you anyway?

I been meaning to ask how cheap are you guys getting these 'waggy springs'? Reason I ask is I have to imagine aftermarket springs might be just as good or possibly even a better deal. From reading about your experiences with them they don't seem like they are all that strong. Not bashing your spring choice just curious.
