Yes! I miss seeing a tiny automatic 4cyl tj bounce and scrape through trails.

Its off to the left, stay to the left off the main road and go up, then take every right when the trail forks (if memory serves), our camp (if we decide to camp there) will be off to the left (you wont miss it)

My original plan was a 4BT but I've decided I'd rather have the 6BT. They're more readily available and can be snatched up for much less $$$. That and they sound so much more badass.

Hey, I did just fine. I did lower compressor and over half of upper compressor in that little thing. Ask Mitch.

Haters gotta hate. Though I'd rather see you in a tj than a jk.. pretty sure fisher price didnt know what they were doing when they designed that body style.. But then I will say it's decent for a 3 year old with a crayon and a box of apple juice

A JK is better than a NoJ, as in no jeep at all. I'd rather have a TJ for sure. As for the JK... I wouldn't go as far as Fisher Price, more like Tonka.

No, Tonka made cool toys.. and id rather have no shoes and have to walk a mile through broken glass than own a jk.

I just think they look god awful..

I don't hate them that much. If a sweet deal comes around over here for a TJ I'd jump on it but I'm not getting rid of the JK for a BMW or a VW. That's for sure.

I didn't know there were trails at Farragut, I'll have to head down there, it's a lot closer than 3 rock!

I got sidetracked on other projects but I'm back. I finally found a winch mount I like and am putting it on this weekend Craigslist score

I got to drive home today in the rain with no top, not a single care was given.

I just payed attention to your date. Im out for that weekend, snowmobile watercross in ione wa that weekend. I have been running that for 6 years now.

Post up that week, nobody really plans much wheeling around here, its more spontaneous.

6bt? I wasnt following this but what are you going to put it in? The length of the entire drivetrain is way too long for anything small. Aside from that you are going to have to have rockwells to keep from breaking stuff constantly. I am sitting about 700ftlbs of torque on my mostly stock 12v.

It would be sooo rad though.

And again, excuse my ignorance on the details of your build.

I'm pretty sure there are, I dunno if they're open, though we did go wheeling near there the winter before last, somewhat close to bayview

I haven't discussed my build plans in quite some time so no worries there. When I get back to the states I plan on a small build once I get a house and a shop.

Here is a rough snapshot of my build plans...

I plan on using a Dodge Cummins 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck, 1 TJ, and another TJ tub to make one vehicle. I will use the frame, Dana 60/70 axles, and the Cummins engine from the Dodge truck. Then I'll merge 2 TJ bodies together and set it on the frame to make a 4 door TJ running on 40 or 42 inch tires. I have many many more details and an a long list of parts in my head but I won't bore everyone with that.

If you do a d60 or 70 rear I will disown you lol. Guy at work here has a 12v and said even his d70 wont be enough when he swaps to a manual.... and hes running itty bitty tires compared to 42s
