Well it depends on if the accord is fine with just a new timing belt... if not I might have to do more work on the car, but we'll see. I should know by 5 ish if I'll have to work on it tomorrow

Valves appear to be okay, none were fully open, cylinder 4 just fired based on the cam position.. cylinder 3 was next to fire and it was quite a few degrees past fully open

We would like some new (to us) people to tag along, see how you like some of the wheeling we do.. 3 rock isn't particularly difficult, but it's a fun day out on the mountain

Well today was fun! More shackle problems though... we found that there's 1 scenario where a track bar is good for a yj, when the shackle actually broke off.. he still wheeled like that the rest of the day and drove home..

Sure, there's a lot of stuff at 3 rock that's passable with an ifs vehicle. You have to know where the harder stuff is

Yeah he's apparently been putting off getting boomerangs, but those leaf springs are pretty harsh too.. hard to say when it happened and what actually caused it

Shackles are not something to put off or skimp on it would seem. Ya live and learn.

Who broke the shackle? My fronts are only 4 3/4" long, havent had an issue with them yet. I need to make some heavier booms for the back. Made these from 1/4".
