Hey I have a quick question... My tcase is in 2wd but my front driveline still spins? Im guessing it is one of the autolocking hubs but I am not sure how to tell. 97 tj wrangler...probably have seen the nasty ass paintjob if you live anywhere in cda/hayden/rathdrum area.

Your axle will have unit bearings so no hubs just a axle nut. Front diff and drive line will spin all the time but if your in 2wd there's no power going to it. It unlocks in the tcase

Yup thats how it is designed. Sometimes best to get on some dirt and make sure its not in 4wheel sometimes even when the tcase lever is in 2wd it will stay in 4wd. If thats the case going into reverse and backing up will kick it out of 4wd

I might be going to the bogs.

I broke an axle up there mothers day and it sure had nothing to do with mud. I didn't even take a glance over at the bogs this time. Too much other stuff to do.
