Glad you made it home. I hit my driveway at about 3AM.

Hopefully next time your Jeep will be in better shape.

Fun time - pics to come.

Bent it up pretty good...not sure if it was this trip or not. Caught it while changing the oil tonight. Not the first time...I really just need to buckle down and get new arms.

...or have someone help me weld in some supports.

Should be a good story?!

Anyone have any thoughts about a headlight upgrade? I was thinking about spending 75 bucks on a set of HELLA 002395801 Vision Plus 165mm 12V High/Low Beam replacement quartz lenses and bulbs. The lighting on this 01' TJ sucks currently. They say ECE so I take it these are the e-codes everyone talks about. I'm seeing alot of talk about the same sort of upgrade by 'Cibie'. But those are 200 bones and not everyone thinks they are worth the extra money. Plus $75 fits the budget right now.

Also have any of you tried those 1156 Cree led backup lights as a stock replacement?

Doing the old starting fluid and match to seat the bead trick. Forgot to reinstall stem core. Heat from the explosion blowing thru the stem melted it. Oh and burned a hole in my finger from me smartly putting my finger over it to stop the air.

Trying the bb balancing trick. Need more bb's

I tried that recently it did help, but I think I needed more bb's as well. I put the tires on a balancer and added as much weight (in bb's) as the machine said. I read somewhere a guy said to use twice as much as you think you should and that now makes sense. Ended up using around 10 ounces on each one on 315/70/17's. Probably should have tried 20.

I think one of the popular tire balancing bead company's website has a nice chart of how much weight to use on each size tire. I would check that out and then double it. Because supposedly the extra weight will just distribute itself evenly anyway.

I'm running this IPF setup. Very happy with it.

Yep. I used the beads site recommendation of 8 oz's mostly because thats all the bb's i had. Going to double it and see. Those tires are on limited time with me anyway. As soon as i get my axles done here in a couple months i will be getting a new set.

That sucks. Human caused or nature?

Looking for some 16x8 wheels 5 on 5 1/2 pattern. Ones that are not gay or shitty.

My cause. Cold temps didn't help. Just tried to pop the top off the door surrounds and ripped the canvas...

I preach that and have to humbly admit that I instinctively put my arm out the window. Thankfully the Jeep didn't go over and nobody was injured.

Sandaholic makes that stock Jeep with the mighty 4-cyl work!
