I'll tell ya tomorrow when I get a chance to run the numbers. And with the right tools and no work I could do it in two weeks.

So after thinking about it...maybe 3 weeks of solid labor. Dude, I don't know what to tell you about that cover. I can't find it anywhere.

It's almost $5000 in parts and that doesn't include the Chevy 350 and conversion parts to install it.

Well, I imagine I could build a pretty BA Jeep too, with the right amount of funding.

Isn't that the one thing holding all of us back?

No. The brushes are worn out and the commutator was all black from one of the brushes arcing since it wasn't making full contact. I cleaned up the brushes and the commutator and stretched the spring a bit to get the one brush out a little more and put it back together and it works. It does need new brushes real soon but for the moment it is working. I can get new brushes in town for $10 so I'll probably pick those up later this week.

its not every time i get to 35mph either, its somewhat random.. pengintamer thinks it might be the u-joints

Im starting to wonder if my now less steep driveline angle is causing it in any way.. could've been coming from the rear end..
