nah i was saying to get the same mechanical setup he had w/o paying for labor, just parts alone i'd say a couple grand..

It's almost $5000 in parts and that doesn't include the Chevy 350 and conversion parts to install it.

No. The brushes are worn out and the commutator was all black from one of the brushes arcing since it wasn't making full contact. I cleaned up the brushes and the commutator and stretched the spring a bit to get the one brush out a little more and put it back together and it works. It does need new brushes real soon but for the moment it is working. I can get new brushes in town for $10 so I'll probably pick those up later this week.

So I'm getting horrible death wobble around 35mph-ish if i can speed up before it gets horrible then it will go away. If not I have to slow way down.. Any ideas guys?

its not every time i get to 35mph either, its somewhat random.. pengintamer thinks it might be the u-joints

Im starting to wonder if my now less steep driveline angle is causing it in any way.. could've been coming from the rear end..
