Wait is it death wobble or a vibration because a drive shaft or u-joints won't cause death wobble?

honestly i dont know what it is, all i know is it feels like the jeep hit the self destruct button and is about to blow up lol.. its a very irrational shaking.. i can tell when its about to happen too, it starts to shimmy in the steering wheel then it just shakes violently.. I can either speed up above 40 if i catch it in time, or slow down if i catch it in time.. if i dont catch it in time it violently shakes till i drop speed considerably.

Violently shaking to the point of not being able to control the vehicle is death wobble and isn't caused by u-joints or drive shafts. Something isn't aligned properly on the front end or you have a tire out of balance. Move the front tires to the rear and vise versa see what happens.

Fine. My death wobble went away after I retorqued everything we touched when we did the lift. Turns out the track bar was loose. That was my cause. Oh and I installed a drop pitman arm

lol

I'll give it a shot, this jeep is getting on my nerves :\

Just swapped out the 3.5 inch lift springs we inadvertently put on the back.. now im on stock springs and the rear is lower than the front. This leads me to believe the springs on here when i bought it are lift springs. Im just trying to make sure that what I did, didn't change anything.. I reinstalled the drive shaft today. I did drive it in front wheel drive for maybe 5 miles total this weekend.

No. What you need to do is to go swap those tires around right now, test drive it and then get back to me.

You should already have those items. You fail. Your man card has been revoked.

Stop breaking it so you can get tools. And the kid is easy to deal with. Dog collar and leash tied to bumper.

i didnt break it this time! lol the rear leaf springs were f'd from the get go. i was trying to fix that! for the mean time pengintamer and even sahara509 have been gracious enough not only to let me use their tools but also turn the wrench too! lol. I am trying to learn as much as I can so when i do get tools i'll be able to not only fix but diagnose problems on my own.

also.. all ive broken on it is the shock mount, and the already chitty rear DS...

Yes I do. The melodies emitted from my bag pipes lure every prostitute within 37 miles to me.

he put the signature there?

I was merely curious, not trying to be a grammar nazi.. maybe there was a reason it said "on in"?
