waggy axle swap.

Anyone have any tips or experience swapping waggy axles into a 64 cj5 or yj???

Should not be overly difficult. Especially all leafs.

couple previous ownrs ago did the swap with D-44 onmy 93 yj. currently have 35x12.5's that sick out alot.
Been thinkin different ideas...
stay 35's go different off-set. but may rub on turning.
go 33.10.5's...
still thinkin though

They are definitely wider. A better solution would be an Ford 8.8" in the rear, and a JK Dana 30 up front. Or, a Dana 44 from a JK Rubi, or an Early Ford Bronco.

Im currently runing a hp d30 and 8.8 that i swapped and a d27 d44 in my 64 cj5. I just wanna take both a step further with the axles.

A jk 30 would be nice if i could find one :/. Idk what the jk d30 specs are but im certian there stronger than my hp d30.

Depending on what size tires you are running u may want to go with a 44 I have a jk and with 35" tires I had to get the sleeve and gussets done to strengthen the housing they have some weak points!
