Washington Back Country Discovery Route

This route looks like a good way to get out and explore some of the less travelled roads in Washington. Although the web site describes it as an offroad motorcycle tour, it certainly would be a good jeep trip. Sections could be done as day trips, overnighters or the whole thing in 5 days or so. I'll know more once the actual route/gps tracks are published.

The gpx tracks for gps units has now been published on the web site:

Gas is available at various points on or within a short distance of the track.

I down loaded the waypoints on google earth. I'm interested in running this as well.

I have run the Oregon version of this a couple of times and had a great time.

I'm planning on doing the whole route with my grandson this summer. I'm looking forward to seeing the country, camping and some quality time with him. I've done the first section of it on motorcycle and jeep, and it would be a good day outing for the jeepsters.

I've always wanted to do it on my Buell Ulysses, but I'm thinking it would be fun to try to do it in a Jeep.

Has anyone done this route in a Jeep?
