So here is a rough summary so far. Also, I popped out there this morning for a peek and it was open.

User - Travel time to ORV Park - Availability

91wrangler girl - 45 minutes - mid week/anytime with a couple weeks notice
Missoulatj - 3hrs - weekends/anytime with 3-5 days notice
coyote_94yj - 15 minutes - weekends/anytime with 3-5 days notice
Bugsbb - 6.5hrs - weekends
Ted D - 1.5hrs - ???
Lance03 - 30 minutes - ???
bigrat59 - 30 minutes - ???
Square_Eyes - 20 minutes - random 2 days/anytime with 2 weeks notice

So there are a couple of blanks that need to be filled in as you can see. If we could get that information that would help out a lot.

There are a few other details that should to be worked out like the start time, a place to meet up, and if we want to stop by some place for food during or after.

Time: Most of the time 8 am is when we set our meet up time but it is negotiable. Missoulatj and Bugsbb, (but mainly Bugsbb) are you planning on coming up the night before, departing real early or showing up in the afternoon? Not to discourage you or anything but keep in mind the ORV park is mostly sand(under the snow) and is mainly set up for bikes and quads. On a scale of 1-10 as far as complexity I would go 3 or 4. Mainly suited for beginners with light modifications.

Meeting Place: There is a much easier (and more scenic) way to get to the ORV park than driving through downtown Spokane. There is a town just west of Spokane called Airway Heights and in this town is a Wal-Mart. The parking area on the far west side makes a great meeting spot because it is almost always vacant and it is easy to see a pack of Jeeps parked up. It is only about 10 minutes from the ORV park and I can lead everyone out there. Those of you in the CDA/Post Falls/Sand Point area could convoy over or what ever.(I love Jeep convoys)

Food: Do we want to stop by some place for lunch or dinner. It would of course depend on the start time. If we started at around 8 or 9 am and then took a break for lunch and then came back or if we start around noon and then have dinner some where. There is a place fairly easy to get to from the ORV park called Franks Diner. It is a train car diner and has some good food. Just throwing the idea out there.

Anyways. This should get the ball rolling.

I am also available anytime with 3-5days notice
As far as a meeting time Im up for whetever, I will be driving over the night before and staying with friends in CDA so I can make an early depart time. I would like to meet up with the CDA people and convoy over to the wallmart parking lot in Airway Hights. And I think Franks Diner sounds great for lunch.

What would be a good meeting place in CDA to start the convoy?

Great. I've made the changes to the roster.

There is a Hunters restaurant and a Shell gas station just off of exit 5 in Post Falls on the north side of I90. Everyone could meet up in the parking lot at one of those two places since there are some Post Falls people as well. Just throwin it out there.

In CDA where at in cda are your friends? I see a lot of jeeps around here meet like once a month at the tesoro gas station right off exit 15 (Sherman) just depending on where you'll be staying. I live close by there. We can convoy over to post falls and pick up the others and continue the convoy lol.

I've met up there once with a couple of guys from over here. Did you see 3 JKs by chance? One black 2 door, one light blue 2 door, and one green 4 door?

x2. Sunday doesn't work for me either. That is the one day of the week that I can spend time with my wife and kids as well as go to church and just rest up for the next week. Military life here is real demanding.

The more the merrier. I'll add you to the roster I have set up for people in the area. How does the 29th of this month work for you? For planning and future events when are you normally available?

As it stands right now we have 5 people(myself included) and possibly a 6th that are good to go for the 29th. I would say that 5 out of the 8 people we've gotten together so far is enough to set a date.

I'll make it official.

Spokane ORV Park - Day in the Park

When: Saturday January 29th @ 9am
Where: 7 Mile ORV Park in Spokane
Meeting Place: West end(Garden Center) of Wal-Mart parking lot in Airway Heights.

*We will break for lunch around noon or so and head over to Frank's Diner for lunch and then head back to the park unless you have had your fill of wheeling and wish to return home.

If you have any questions or need directions send me a PM.
