Thanks. I got a hold of a guy in town that is on Jeep Forum and he is going to let me borrow his. Good luck on the install.

I'm trying to get mine inside my Tuffy center console and it is being a PITA trying to run wires through it.

Thanks, I was lucky that the wiring on mine was easy, Im hoping that the problems Im having are caused by a bad ground on the atenna or the coax being bent too sharply at the mount, just waiting on a new fire ring coax to come in later this week.

Good luck with the wiring. What kind of atenna and mount are you going with?

I'm using a 4' Firestick. The mount is just one of those panel mounts that you drill a 1/2" hole and screw it together with the insulator. I modified a tailgate hinge and stuck it through there since I'm not using the hinges anymore. I've converted the tailgate to fold down like a pick-up.

I'll post up a pic later tomorrow. Err I guess it is tomorrow already so later today.

I have to install my 250 amp alternator before I can run my crap. I even know if I can put it in the jeep. Had it in a dodge truck.

Ya, I've got the 4' Firestik now. I had a full length whip on my YJ. I might pick one up for the TJ some day. Dunno.

What fee?

EDIT: Sorry my mind was stuck on CB antennas for a minute there. There is no fee to go wheeling at 7 Mile. All you need to do is bring your jeep and fuel. There is a gas station a couple miles away. It's about a quarter mile(if that) from the meeting spot on the way to the park.
