Jeeper's; or not....

Hey yall!

Flying back to MT at the end of February. I live in the Bozeman area and LOVE to off-road/trail ride up olsen creek, johnson canyon, flathead pass, and other fun areas. I'm willing to make day trips (wife and kids willing) around the area such as Pipestone trips.

So to all you JK owners who dont wave, and to all you REAL jeep lovers... send a reply and lets get some dates set up to hit the trails. Jeeps and friends of jeeps welcome.

( I would love to have a H3 come out and get stuck with us!)

No, but i might be willing to head out there if it's worth my while. If we can get a few trucks and spend the day/weekend i think we could work something out.

I run close to stock. 33" tires and some cheap mods. nothing special, But I do push her pretty hard so I can keep up with lift jeeps fairly well. What area's are you thinking about hitting up so i can plan something with the family.

Flathead pass is a logging road that's open all year round outside of belgrade/bozeman. It also connects to johnson canyon from the back side.

A friend from Washington is coming in for a week. We are probably going to try to hit up flathead pass tomorrow if not some time this week. He's in a Toyota T100 so stock Jeep accessible for sure. I'll Keep you guys posted today when he gets in and let you know when he wants to hit the trails if anyone wants to tag along.

Justin, we'll have to set up something in advance for meeting up and wheelin' near you. With the kids (4 year old and a 1 year old) it's kind of hard for me to leave for a weekend trip without them right now.

I think I will tag along. Do you have directions to the bottom of the trail? Would be much appreciated!

Hey raif, sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. My buddy had his bday last night and it was a LONG night. I think we are just going to go shoot some guns today. no wheeling. But i'm good to go next weekend. It's simple directions also. just take I-90 to the 19th exit in Bozeman and turn right. I'll meet you at the Gas station called "the Blue Basket" to fill up and then roll down the road.

mmm Fun. Alright well I'll put up a post around Thursday so we can get a time and day set up. How rough are you looking to get? Easy bumps and rocks or Ice hill climbs and boulders?

I am down! I can't PROMISE it, but I will try my hardest to make it over from emigrant. I am a novice 4x4er, but my jeep is built up enough I shouldn't have a problem traversing obstacles. Is your friend with the yota coming along as well? I will ask some people I know if they would like to tag along if you don't mind.

Oh pretty looking TJs..... Sorry it's taking a while Raif. I can't seem to find my SD card adapter for the computer and uploading the videos from my phone is annoying so haven't been motivated to do it yet. I'll get them on here soon though. PM me with your email and i'll shoot you those videos next week.

Hey Raif.

Our lady friends are availible to wheel after the 8th. I'm thinking the following weekend we try to hit up some more trails if you are availible. Either back here on our side of the hill or we could possibly hit up your neck of the woods if you want to lead. Just let me know.

Het Raif and Dirty Palms,

Count me in on your next trip (As long as I dont have to work). I am running a stock JK with little 4X4 experience, but I have good insurance . I am local to Bozeman and often travel to Livingston to visit the in-laws. So if you see a Red JK with ZORT decals and the Zombie family stickers on the back, thats me!

Hey! I look forward to it! If you see a lifted moss green TJ with black wheels, windshield lights, and no bumper give me a shout. And to be clear, you are talking the weekend of the 14th? I think I will be available.
