Never rolled a Jeep but I did roll a dune buggy once and the first thing I said while we were hanging upside was, "Welp...that didn't work." lol

I was wheeling outside the airforce base in Charleston SC and dumped my CJ end over and came to rest on the roll bar. While I was busy not thinking my friend reached in and shutdown the engine. Flipped her over and when I tried to start it bad things happened bent a rod. I was more prepared the second and third times.

i haven't rolled a jeep either. a guy i know was on the same trip i was on last year, and he rolled, and his first thought was "what is that hot feeling going up my armpit?", the hot manual trans fluid was leaking out the top of the trans down his arm. that's gotta suck, and probably could've been much worse, he wasn't hurt seriously, but i'm sure it could be hotter and cause some damage to a person.

first thing that came to mind once my old 4runner stopped spinning and came to a rest on its side:

"hmmm, how are all those cars balancing on their bumpers?"

second thing:

"wow, even on the vehicles side, these seats are still very comfy and supportive...."

I rolled a blazer before and at first I thought I was dead. There were people running down the road to the accident screaming call 911 their dead. Needless to say I didnt die, only a cut on my ear.

Well I flopped it on it's side and the first thing I YELLED thought at the same time was F%^Kin Slushy is empty with a bunch of bad words since it was a awesome cherry slushy and only bout 5 mins into the trails that day in AZ. I scratched my tire carrier and my fender flare. I put the jeep in reverse and backed out of it. Then had to do the same rock wall to keep going lol.

You are in the wrong thread, in your case it would be this one: "1st thing that comes to mind after you run out of fuel"

Getting old has it's benefits. When you roll over and poop, The diapers are a containment system.

I am a proud member of the "Jeep on it's side club"

I grabbed the CB and said "Man down, man down"
then I lit a smoke, and started figuring out how to get out.

i've been in 2 roll overs. an Omni and a Trail Buster. i was co-pilot in both. the Omni went on the roof from ice and hitting a tree stump, the Trail Buster went over 2 times down a hill, landing on the tires. my first things i said were...

Omni = hey look, the radio works now!

Trail Buster = nice line down that hill a**hole

just remember. 2 types of people. those that have rolled, and those that will.

out of my friends that have jeeps that wheel them, i'm the last one to not. i run with a small 4x4 club and out of the 10 or so wranglers half have put 4 tires in the air.

it's like racing. you're gonna hit the wall sooner or later.

just wear your seat belt. if she starts going over, duck and get low. it's no big deal. 90% of the time it's just a little body damage, bumps, cuts, and bruises. i've only heard of 1 roll over where the guy really got hurt, but it was at 70mph and involved a deer and a ditch.

I've not had my roll cherry popped yet. But I think it would be bittersweet. Bitter when the bill shows up from Minners but 'Wow, that was sweet!'

I rolled a Chevy Lumina once and the first thing that went through my mind was "Damn, there goes my license." Followed by "Thank God I wasn't in my truck."

I've been lucky in that so far no rolls, no flops.

I can almost gurantee though that my first thought will be something along the lines of:

I need a fresh pair of pants!

I think what's most impressive is that you could find your smokes. Mine (in that spot) would have been under the passenger side of the tub!
