I've got no first hand experience with the gun, but it has a great reputation. If it's in good condition, I'd be all over it at that price. I'm assuming it's for the blued finish? You should be able to pick up a Kadet 22LR conversion kit for it for another $300 or so if you were interested in some cheap shooting. It also has a good reputation but I think the 40cal conversion kit had some last shot lock back problems with the slide. CZ was supposedly good about sending a free replacement part to correct the issue. I was very close to buying the same pistol in 9mm, but got a good deal on a Glock at the time and passed it up. Post up some pics if you buy it!

As far as CZ goes itself...they make some nice guns. I've got one of their 22LR rifles and it's pretty damn nice in fit and finish for what I paid. And the accuracy is pretty damn good too. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if the price was right, but their rimfire rifles have jumped dramatically in popularity (and price) over the last two years.
