well they are $50 a piece new so thats $250 worth so if as long as the bull bar isn't worth that much then i'd do it. they are like $400 new correct? so i'd say $200 or $250 would be a good sell for the bull bar. so i say go for the steelies.

i mean if your not usin the bumper any more and you don't think you can get more than $250 for it (or you don't wanna bother with sellin it) then i'd go for it

I was thinking less math and more "I want the steelies and I don't want the bull bar" then it's a good deal (lest yee can grab more cash than the steelies would cost).

New the ARB is about $ 700 new, the wheels are $ 80.00 each x 5. After giving it some more thought I'm thinking it's a pretty good deal. It's better than messing with having to sell it or ship it to someone.

I'll post up some pics (again) if I pull the trigger on this one.

Thanks for the input!!!

I'm with Tiny Terror on this one. You may be able to make out better in the long run if you advertise and try to find someone to buy it outright, but that is exactly why people trade in their cars. It is a pain in the ass to sell stuff. I would take the trade. You are getting rid of something you don't want and getting something you want.

Everyone made some good points. I called the guy today and told him we had a deal. I put an email out to my local Jeep Club and all I got was "Good luck selling that big ass bumper".

I pulled the trigger - Deal Done! Now I have some black steelies!!!

Not mounted yet. I'm sending the chrome center caps out to get powder coated black. As soon as they're back I'll get them mounted up and post some pics. Hopefully my rock sliders will be in by that time too?!?!

I will let you know.

haven't decided on the gasket yet.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one actually. Schrockworks makes some really nice stuff.

just an opinion but i wouldn't go with the new wheels unless you were getting bigger tires put on them at the same time...if your gettin bigger tires then go for it but if your gettin the wheels only then i would go with the sliders

by the way, i have steelies
