64 impala wagon

I'm guessing I'm still awake because I might be purchasing a 64 impala station wagon. I have seen it a few times but not that close and personal. Any thoughts of this I'm not sure my wife is totally on board or at all. Damn you wagon obsession.

Why Not ? Those old boats are getting hard to find.
What kind of shape is it in ? Has it been messed with or is it stock ?
The Old 283's and 327's were great engines.
It's really strange getting in one and driving it today....Like herding a barge down the street....
Here a few years ago I had a chance to get a 66 Ford Wagon had a 302 in it and the three way rear tailgate (?? two way??) . I could have drug it home for a case of beer.
I waited ,couldn't make up my mind, the guy sold it to a junky....The Junky took it home and was torching out the gas tank straps when the tank blew up and killed him !
Too bad, I hate to see that happen.....The car was absolutely straight, all glass was good....had an engine compartment fire at one time, minor carb fire, enough to scorch the paint on the hood....
Good luck with it, have fun and if you have a family, good for you, nothin like a station wagon for a family cruiser..... BH
