Accident

Today while on my way home from snowboarding I was in an accident. My brother was driving about 40mph in a 50mph zone that's fairly straight in our fathers toyota tundra. When he was going around a corner the wheels didn't turn because of the ice on the road, and he started to slide off. He jammed on the brakes and turned the wheel to the left to try to avoid it. We hit a tree with the front passenger side of the truck, then slid down into a bunch of trees that stopped us. I was in the rear passenger seat and a good friend of ours was in the front passenger seat. Luckily nobody even got a scratch on them even though 3 windows shattered.

Enough talk and here's the pictures...

This is the spot that we stopped at:

That looks like a pretty substantial impact. I'm glad to heat that no one was hurt.

Damage to your Jeep must have been pretty bad to have it end up looking like a taco

Yep we got the truck slow enough that the air bags didn't go off. The truck is totaled though.

Here are some high quality pics of it at the towing yard.

It was a year ago that same day, my friend was driving home and hit some ice and flipped a midsize SUV with 5 people in the car. They rolled 3 or 4 times and all walked away without a scratch as well.

I'm glad no one was hurt in your accident.

I am starting to wonder if that day is a lucky day or a unlucky day. . .
