It's the same hill & the first Jeep is sitting at the bottom when the second one came down

If you look closely at the second video, you can see the screaming woman's jeep in the background....

That is some really poor driving. How about getting yourself lined up a bit more properly before taking off down a steep hill? And why do these people take off so fast at the start of a descending hill?

I just watched these two Anzo-Borrego hill videos again. What an exciting day for that brother and sister!

That's not a kid in the back seat of the white jeep - it's a grown person. I think the scream confused me :-).

It's interesting isn't it? That's a really nicely built Wrangler, or it would appear so based on the stickers. But the driver didn't seem to have it in low. I even watched to see if she had the clutch pressed in - some drivers do that out of habit when they want to stop. Photos/video tends to flatten hills, so I expect this is steeper than it looks.

Here's another rollover from same area. Looks like it could be the hill just to the right of the one in the other videos. This one is pretty serious. Skip to about half way for the roll, but if you watch it all, you get to see some hilarious hand waving from the spotter.

This is EXACTLY what I wanted to express. That hill, even through video, looks ridiculously steep!!

Well, you're in Texas. You'd have to work really, really hard to find a hill like that

But come visit us in Colorado. We'll help you live through your dreams and nightmares. It's fun!

This is known as Heart Attack Hill down in Anza Borrego desert in SoCal. It is a fairly steep hill in person.

I thought the best part was how the camera guy didn't even flinch, but simply asked, "Wha...what are you doing? You're an idiot...."

I don't know which was the worse here ,the driver for not listening to the spotter, or the spotter for not spotting very well recipe for disaster. I wouldn't even think about doing that unless I had a good spotter at least for coming over the top & I would have walked it myself at first

These videos should be a WARNING for the novice off-roader! This is what happens when people don't take precautions & don't have experienced, competent spotters or support.

Those spotters on the hill in the first video & TJ barrel roll should be responsible for all of the repair & hospital bills for those drivers! And the drivers; unfortunately a really hard lesson learned (I hope). The barrel-roll TJ has a long arm kit & other obvious modifications. I don't know the driver's experience level. By judging on this video alone, I'd say not a veteran off-roader. Just goes to show that you can't count on upgrades alone to overcome obstacles & inexperience / stupidity.

Why would you start ANY downhill descent at a 45° to the hill? You should always try to start heading straight down the hill. This is my first year off-roading Jeeps (although I've been riding MX for 30+ years) and there is no way I'd have approached that downhill from that direction. And I'd definitely be in 4LO. The CJ looked like it wasn't in 4LO and the TJ didn't last long enough for us to tell if he was in 4LO.

Please be careful out there and take all the necessary precautions. This sport can send you to the hospital on a backboard or kill you.

YUP, too many new drivers are apt to depend on MODs for safety and you still gotta DRIVE the jeep-

Keep your seat belt ON !!
