Plus, if they can afford to chrome out everything, they can afford some fenders!

Thank you Jerry, I feel honored that you voted for my little redheaded step child!

I read the entry on #1, the gal really.. well.. except for the chrome thing.. she wheels it pretty hard and does her own wrenching. I have to give her thumbs up for that!

But Ajax is SO much more "down to earth" kind of the "Jeep next door" - not too fancy, able to ride the trails and still go run errands.

I lub my lil Jeep

Yea.. kinda out of the blue too...

Any suggestions for how I could round up some more votes?
I've posted on Facebook and the three forums I am on all of the time and tormented family members.. I'm not sure what else to do.

see if the admins can make it requirement of everybody on the forum to vote before they can do anything. That should give you a good 1000 lead.

I am sure jgano would do that for you

Can't do that bud...just think about it.

Kate....your biggest compitition with #4 is...they are pulling the "military" card....It's a tough one to pull past. Great luck to you and I'll continue to pass the word around to vote for you.

I have to admit, I didn't read most of the other bios until today.
It makes me feel a little bad competing against the military folks.

BUT as greedy and self serving as it sounds,
and prolly hanging myself for saying it, I still want to win.

It's STILL just a contest for some Jeep armor.
A contest is a contest it's by entering and participating it's not showing any disrespect or lack of support for our guys and gals in the service.

But if one of the military guys wins then I'll sure celebrate for him or her too! Heck, it's all for fun!

Thanks everyone for voting! I sure appreciate it. Even if we don't win, this has been a kick in the pants!

Man, this is a WHOLE lot harder than I thought it would be... If anyone has friends out there that they could sweet talk into voting for my ugly baby I would be so grateful!

I've tapped out facebook and the forums.. I guess that's all I've got.

I imagine a lot of others have considered the same thing but I would hate to win and then be disqualified for something like that.

Which is prolly why I'll more than likely lose, but I won't be a cheater!

Ya know what bothers me though? Someone over there is trying to start drama over Jerry voting for my Jeep and rooting for me here. Now THAT it just wrong on so many levels. If that's the way it's going to go, I'll withdraw.

I don't want any board wars or drama or folks being disrespectful to others.
It's JUST a silly contest not worth a bunch of bad karma.

Your right it is a bunch of drama, but hey thats jeepforum :P we keep it civil here, usually. so no worries. Your right that its just a contest, but its a contest that we want to see you win. were like a big family here, and were supporting you. Nothing for them to get upset over.
