I seem to recall a 4x4 documentary a couple months ago which clearly stated thet the first Land Rover was a jeep with a fabricated body done by two british dudes after WWII. They liked the jeep so much they wanted a version they could call their own.

No one would ever say that, bigjeep. Some just have "flashier" jeeps than others

The LR's also have engine problems...my friend had problems with her Discovery a couple weeks ago and spent over $6k to fix it...something with the thermostat. She ended up trading the POS in for an Acura. They gave her next to nothing for a trade in and it was only 4 years old. Not exactly the type of vehicle I'd be bragging about.

I don't know, I think it's ok to brag about other vehicles, I mean most of us have driven other cars. I drove a mustang for years and I loved it. But to come to a forum that's specific to jeeps and start first thing with talking up another make seems sorta... pointless to me.

32's please! Try 35X1250R15 Mt/Rs and they tuck like a champ!

Rovers dont have problems if you take care of them. The rookies have problems.

P.S. We have Leather, Dual sunroofs, Front and rear AC.

Dont get me wrong I love Jeeps they taste like chicken. They are very capable wheelers. I thought I would just post this because All I hear from my jeep buddies is that they have more front flex then any other street legal wheeler. Sorry wrong answer! With 14in travel fox shocks in the front and 12in in the rear you can only dream of the Flex!

Yeah. And your coming here to cause trouble is very transparent. It's not like anyone here can't see what you're doing talking to a bunch of annoymous people on the internet instead of taking your rig and proving your point face to face with your so called buddies. But go ahead, it's unbelievebly entertaining.

Dude, I'm glad you're happy with your rig, but the simple fact is you can get that much flex out of any vehicle if you throw enough money at it. Heck, I could tri-link some solid axles to my wife's minivan or my son's Firebird and get as good as or better than what you're flashing here.

I'm still trying to figure out what point you're trying to make here. Are you trying to convince a group of Jeep lovers that your Land Rover is superior to their Jeeps? Good luck with that. Come talk to me with your dual air and sun roofs on a beautiful day in the mountains when I'm running topless with my doors off. I, like just about everyone else here, bought my Jeep for a reason. And it wasn't to be stuck in a sterile environment with windows to look through. It was so we could be part of the nature we love so much. Is there anything you could do to get me to trade my Jeep for your Land Rover? Yes! Throw in enough cash with the Land Rover to buy another Jeep.

I truly mean you no ill will here; I believe there is room on the trails for all of us. But keep in mind that you were the one that walked into Wrangler land swinging your fists. Don't expect to make it out unscathed.

Talking

I love jeeps fellas... I am not here to to start crap, I do like how upset some get though. Its all fun and games! I would stop and help any jeep out on the trail as i would hope they would do the same for me, but it seems that i only see buggies on the trails i run on latley.
