I know their are a lot of people around here that do.....I'm in Dumas (use to work in Fritch at Champs until it shut down) and most everyone I know around here just heads to the river.....at one time their was a jeep club in amarillo but I don't know if their still active.

I just found your thread. I posted one this morning just like this. I am finishing my build on a 94 yj and was looking for other people that wheel. I had heard their was a jeep club in amarillo, but had heard they were pretty clannish. I don't know anyone in the club and I am not concerned with all that. I LOVE building these things that take all our money (worse than wives). I am more than willing to help anyone, build or do anything they would like to their jeeps. I am no expert, but pretty handy in the shop Welding, cutting, bodywork, fabbing and engineering. My foreman here on the ranch also has a mild 93 yj and we would like to just go trail wheel. Were not extreme rock climbers or looking to submarine the yj's into 10 ft deep mud pits, but would like to go put them through their paces. I have done some engineering with axle swaps and would like to shake it down to see how they perform or not and redo.
