I agree that The Chive is a cool site, however, I hate that it is extremely difficult to buy a t-shirt since they never seem to be in stock. I have been trying to buy a BFM t-shirt for months and can never seem to catch a break and actually find one in stock. KCCO!

They do it on purpose. They want to keep them hard to get for some reason. I dont get why but they are super hard to get a hold of.

Yeah, I suspect they do it to keep the intrigue up, supply and demand, etc. they are starting to emblazon everything with the "KCCO" logo which automatically adds a $10 premium to the price of the item. They are bordering saturating their own marketplace. However, they might as well make all the money they can while the site is hot.

#1.) The manufactured shortages create their own high demand. By perpetuating the coolness of the KCCO and BFM memes, the Chivery can almost guarantee that every piece of KCCO and BFM merchandise in stock will sell.

#2.) People want to be part of the KCCO meme, particularly when you make it harder to be part of the meme. The KCCO and BFM apparel is part of the meme.

#3.) If everyone has one then it's no longer a select "club" of sorts.

I tend to think of the South Park episode "Cartmanland" where everyone suddenly becomes interested in going to Cartman's amusement park after he advertises that nobody can get in.

I understand but that's an amusement park... We are talking about a T-shirt with a picture of bill Murray on it or the letters KCCO.

I know why they do it but the people that buy the shirts from them are pressed. I go to walmart, find the shirts for $5.88 and save the rest of my money for mods and fun money.

If your server has you blocked from the site then try putting an "s" in front of http. So for example instead of "http.thechive" you will have "https.thechive"
That works on our servers to get around what the government says we can't look at while at work.

Depending on where you work... I don't know if this is a work friendly site. Lol. They go from mild to wild. No nudity ever but there are a lot of scantily clothes vomens on there.
