Any college football fans here?

I personally am a huge fan of LSU!

I think LSU has a great chance of going to the National Championship game if they get by Virginia Tech in their second game of the year.

I think Michigan, Wisconsin and West Virginia have a better chance at making it to the big game than USC, Texas and Florida.

Let's hear your opinions...

I think the Vols will take care of the Bears in their first game of the year...It should be a great game though.

I think ASU will do better this year then they have in a while.

I usually don't side with any one team in particular because college football is so much fun to watch in general.
I do root for whoever is playing against Notre Dame, Brigham Young, and for sure whoever is playing against USC. Boo Trojans !

I gott apull for my Kentucky Wildcats. We are usually a basketball team, but we are solwly improving at football. I believe we will pull off a winning season and get into another cheezy bowl game this year. I will e happy with a winning season (which is quite an accomplishment when you play against SEC powerhouses) and will be overjoyed if we can beat University of Louisville.

(and look out for basketball season... I predict Final Four within Gillespies first 2 years as coach)

My favorite team is who ever is playing Notre Dame
LSU looks tough this year but that is also a hard confrence to get through.
I hope ASU does well I like the way they are heading with the new coach.

Penn State fan here!

Also, though I'm not a USC fan, I have to sorta root for them. A coworker of mine has a son that
walked onto the USC team this year as a fullback ---> http://usctrojans.cstv.com/sports/m-...an_adam00.html

since I live in the town where WVU is... and when there are home games the traffic is all f&^&ed up... I personally dont follow college football... unless I have to go somewhere that day... then I plan my day around the game: IE: wait till kick-off to leave the house... and be home before its over...

That's the same way it is here in Columbus. The place turns into a ghost town when the game is on.

go dawgs sic em. woof woof woof.

and i always pull for an SEC team over an non sec team. but then again. arent we the only real conference anyway?

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/colum...8&sportCat=ncf
read it and understand

let be serious people. what teams do USC, oklahoma, texas, michigan, ND, and a few other play that should qualify them to be ranked as highly as they always are? they always start out high and dont play many good teams, so they dont often lose, which leaves them up top all year. then they play a real time (like last yr) and get demolished. anyone wonder what would have happened if AU got the pick a few yrs back to play in the big game?????

i'm not saying these teams arent good, but they're certainly not the best. i'm not even sayin they wouldnt beat some of the top SEC teams. UF didnt even beat all the top SEC teams last year and still whooped the buckeyes. SEC teams play caliber teams week in and week out. back-to-back-to-back. give ohio state floridas schedule last yr and i doubt they'd be top 10.

rant off

LSU is 21-19-1 against Auburn...We are the real Tigers!
You are the war eagle tigers...? I gotta talk smack back

I usually root for all the SEC teams unless they are playing LSU of course. The SEC beats each other up every year and is by far the best conference in the nation!

Though I bleed purple & gold, I also root for Notre Dame. I hope they upset USC this year, but I don't see it happening.

The SEC east is tough to call this year. I think it will be between Georgia & the Vols.

The SEC west...Let's face it LSU will beat Ole Miss, Miss State and Alabama..and we get Auburn and Arkansas at home in Death Valley, Louisiana which is a clear advantage for LSU.

I don't have the time to watch the games, but I always, in any competition, expect the ones nearer to my home, to win. It goes on and on, in any type of game, I allways root for the home team. Anyone that yells for other teams should move! (I don't understand folks that move to a town and don't support their team) (it's US, against THEM!)
