I wouldn't consider myslef a metalhead but I have a very eclectic taste in music. I can go from listening to Collective Soul...then Hatebreed...then Chimaira...and so on. I just like "Rock" music in general.

I'm extremely picky when it comes to metal. There are so many sub-genres too... As I Lay Dying is probably my top choice. They have heavy heavy breakdowns, and not too melodic. Does this count?

I guess that I'm what you might consider an 'old school' metalhead... I grew up listening to & playing Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, etc. That being said, I'm also classically trained on the trumpet, so you might say that my musical tastes are just a tad 'eclectic'.

Heck, my mp3 player just went from Black Sabbath into Brian Setzers' version of 'Cherokee' while I was typing this
