Darth Maul would be cool. Haven't seen one of those either. Red and black parts on it I think would get the theme across to people.

The problem with doing a Darth Maul Jeep is you're pretty much obliged to remove half the stuff it comes with from the factory and throwing it away.

You'd also have to add the word "Ray" to the Forward most selection on an automatic transmission selector.

So the guy who sold out his rebel friends gets welcomed into the rebel fold not only gets to sit alongside all the rebel leaders during the briefings that detail the rebels plans for destroying the new Death Star, he's ALSO allowed to command the ship of the guy he not only sold out but also allowed Boba Fett to experiment on...

That has always bugged me, too. Lando wouldn't have been anywhere near Death Star 2.0 (and certainly wouldn't have led a Rebellion offensive against it) had Vader not altered the agreement they had on Bespin.

That is one smooth sweet-talker.

I'd have this () much more respect for the Alliance if they would have exiled or killed Lando, but they didn't, they even gave him his own ship. Brings up another point on how the Alliance just wants their main planet to remain untouched. A Utopia of 1 minded people. So once Lando got finished with whatever against the Empire. The Alliance lets him go back to Cloud City and gamble with the governor-ship and residents of that planet, pretty sure lets him instill more corruption and extortion of Cloud city. Good show of morals there Alliance members. LOL.

No, Lando actually turns out to be a pretty good character for the rebellion if you follow the stories that happen after the movies. He may not be the most trustworthy in everyone's eyes, but he doesn't exactly stab people in the back either!

Besides turning in Han, Chewy, and Leia... No he doesn't literally stab people in the back. LOL. But the same cant be said for the residents of Cloud city, this compulsive gambling addict who gambled his governorship along with the fate of millions of residents of Cloud City. Who knows what more tyranny the new governor brought. All because Lando gambled it away.

If I was a criminal like Han and Chewy, and another criminal gave me up to the feds... He's not gonna be my friend anymore, I don't care what he does after that... he's not coming over for Thanksgiving dinner. LOL...

And the only reason why he became "good" again was he helped free Han, Chewy and Leia... but only after he threw a temper tantrum because Vader told him those 2 cant leave the City. Lando wanted Chewy and Leia as his personal slaves somewhere other than Cloud City... When Lando couldn't have his way he cried, whined, and threw a tantrum like how a little kid does when he doesn't get the toy he wants. So Lando knew back then that he was going to gamble the governorship away, why else wouldn't he want them to be able to leave the city???

Don't try to defend this criminal... errr Benedict Arnold... ummmm Gambler...errr double crosser... errrr no loyalty...errrr... well you get the point... LOL..

Did you skip over post 147?? lol

afd660, you almost have me ready to join you. To do so, you must do your best comments on Ewoks and Jar Jar Binks. I'd like to drop kick the former, and make a Turks head knot out of JJ's tongue and ears. So let's see it.

Lando "whined and threw a temper tantrum" because the agreement he had with the Empire was broken. It was broken because the Empire chose to change what THEY wanted. If you made a deal and then it was changed to the benefit of the other party, wouldn't you be upset? Lando isn't the most sympathetic character, but he tried to do what was right in the end.

Yes, and according to Robot Chicken Wars, 'The Deal' was changed several times

The scene with Ponda Boba and Dr. Evazan on Robot Chicken cracked me up.

"He doesn't like you"

Join the Darkside. The Ewoks are ok. They lived peacefully with the Empire until they were conned by Luke into attacking the Empire base. Not really the Ewoks fault if they believed something to be their "god". Other than that, they don't cause a problem. Maybe now would be the time for the Empire to step in and point out that to the Ewoks that they were used and now instead of being hostile, they are now allies. LOL.
I'm not sure where to being with Jar Jar. Darth Maul should have killed him/her.... I'm not sure on the sexuality of Jar Jar... I would love to slowly torture Jar Jar but then that would mean I have to be in the same room. So I'm not sure how to handle that situation. lol..

You're over looking the point that Lando made the deal in the first place. The trust in Lando was broken when he made an agreement with Vader. The Alliance likes to turn and blind eye to the fact that he still betrayed his "friends", all because he didn't get to leave a city with his future slaves, a city he was in charge of (at the time). "He tried to do what was right in the end"???? What would have been right was to not make the deal from the beginning. So the only way that he did right was because Lando didn't get what he wanted?? Lets say Lando wants a new spaceship that the Alliance has, and if he doesn't get the new spaceship, he goes and turns in Han, Leia, and Chewy. Would that be ok? I think the Alliance would be a bit pissed off right?? But according to what you're saying, its ok to double cross if you don't get what you want. ... LOL.

I wouldn't turn in friends especially if they were friends I served with in Iraq... but hypothetically if I made a deal with somebody to turn in my friends, I wouldn't go back and try to be friends with the same people I just turned in. Think they would welcome me back with open arms and kisses?? Very doubtful, more like kicks to the groin and my teeth on the ground. lol...

LOL.. not so fast...

This brings me to another point. How do you know you actually "heart" her?? And a Jedi isn't making you "heart" her?? Jedi's have a thing that's basically mind control. If a Jedi doesn't agree with something that you or somebody is doing he can control them into doing whatever he wanted.

She responded with "I know".. Of course she would know, shes making you with that Jedi mind crap. haha..

Under Alliance rule there is no free will, no make your own destiny. Its a do as I say or we'll mind control you to do it. Ever see Vader abusing his Jedi mind power to control people?? Nope...

We're supposed to just trust the Jedi's to not abuse their power?? How do we know corruption and power abuse wasn't in the Jedi order??? Obi-wan was going around using it on Stormtroopers to hide droids, and who knows what else. Luke Skywalker used it to convince Fortuna to allow Luke to speak with Jabba. Then he tries to use it on Jabba, but then Jabba tells Luke that the mind trick wont work on him.

Know why the Rebels like Droids so much??? That's because they don't want people to think for themselves, they just want emotionless robots to do what they want them to do. Non-robots (humanoids) they just mind trick or mind control them into doing their will.

I know you Alliance members are brainwashed by the Jedi's just to think the way they want you to, but if you can just think clearly for 1 minute and to think for yourself, you'll see that the Empire is not corrupt and is the way to live life. LOL.

Sorry dude. Your defense of the Ewoks wasn't quite what I was looking for. Vader didn't have to use mind control. He just choked the ....... out of you until you obeyed.

Whoa whoa whoa! I was simply throwing out a bit of low hanging ESB fruit to see if hbgirl would swing at it and she knocked it out of the park.

Now...Onto the show.

Vader didn't use mind control powers because he didn't need to. His code no longer bound him to the Jedi way. His Jedi powers were replaced with Sith powers, which don't necessitate avoiding conflict by affecting someones mind. Ever see Obiwan force choke someone who disagreed with him? Didn't think so.
If you're going to go down that road, one could argue that Palpatine mind controlled the Senate to gain his power and control over the (now) Empire. I mean, if you're gonna throw stones into my ocean of calm, I'll happily show you how far those ripples will travel.

And the alliance likes droids so much because they actually value sentient life enough to not put it in harms way. The Empire started out using droids until they figured out a way to create enough hapless victims, er...Clones, to carry out their warfare on systems that disagree with their absolute rule.

Now...If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go grab a double of blue milk.
