OK, this is funny. Found it on a site, sent it to someone. The reply was "Storm trooper?" My response "Much have you yet to learn young padawan."

Jimbot.... sorry I don't dislike the Ewoks as much as you, but its not their fault they got manipulated by the Alliance. If I was a Jedi and we disagreed then I'd use my mind control to make you agree with me, but as a member of the Empire I welcome opinions and free choice. LOL.

Vader........SNIP
Now...If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go grab a double of blue milk.
Finally some discussion... LOL..

Did Vader use his Sith powers to manipulate people into doing his will?? or for "evil"(ie manipulation)?? He did kill Admiral Ozzel, but he ruined a strategic military plan of the Empire. Ozzel came out of hyperdrive to late and it alerted the Rebels who then raised the defense shields over the planet. Ozzel's mistake caused the death of how many thousands of Stormtroopers because they had to attack the planet old school style??

Palpatine didn't manipulate the Senate, the Senate were a bunch of your typical get nothing done politicans. Palpatine didn't wave his hand saying you will give me dictator powers, unlike what Obi-Wan did which in the movie was pretty obvious. So for a Jedi Master to have to wave his hand to mind control when Palpatine didn't. With that evidence I'm gonna have to say he didn't manipulate the 1024 members of the Senate all at once. LOL.

No Obi-Wan didn't choke anybody out, just mind controlled them into doing his will.

Empire used clones because they still have human qualities like reasoning, adapting, and thinking. If a person was out past curfew a droid would shoot the person dead because it was past a certain time. Where as a clone would use logic and reasoning and see that it was just maybe a drunk person going home late. Might be a distraction technique, might not, but still a mind has to use reasoning and logic. Now neither side had a curfew on a city or anything, just using that as an example.

This is blasphemy! But at the same time it's awefully dark in that bowl and it's hysterical!

Here is an actual storm pooper

Star Wars nerds you say? My machine shop builds astromech frames and other parts for Astromech.net. Full size fully remote control Astrodroids, mostly billet aluminum.

This is our personal shop Droid, an unskinned R4-k5 aka Darth Vaders Astromech.

It doesn't end there! We made all the arm pistons for a customers full size C3po, ear pieces and rangefinder for Boba Fetts helmet. We can make anything really! The astromechs are definitely the coolest things we make.

This is the frame testing jig. We used it to design a frame that can do what is called a 2-3-2 conversion. Sometimes the the droids are on two legs and sometimes three. Designing a frame that could do that and still have room for all the robotic hardware took a time but it worked out in the end. The leg movement is controlled by three linear actuators.

Two leg mode

Three leg mode

Late to this thread, but a big fan of the OT - the newer stuff not so much but we'll see what the Disney future holds. So far considering a Mandalorian decal for my TJ but haven't done it yet.

I run costumebot.com and am also a 501st member as a sandtrooper, tusken, and tie pilot. I was even in one of the Spike TV commercials for SW. I've found that sometimes it's better not to tag a ride too obviously otherwise it's dangerous to leave those armor bins inside. People put two and two together and things go missing.

I am debating theming my 2011 JKU Sport. It's flame red with black trim. So far I've come up with darth maul, emperor's guard, and (off topic) deadpool. Right now she is completely stock but would like to move in this direction. Any thoughts?

I would go with the Darth Maul theme.

plasti dip the grille black then paint red over it like the designs on darth maul's face? Then plasti dip two circles on the hood and glue some little darth maul horns to them. And plasti dip the lights to look like angry eyes.http://pics.livejournal.com/womprat99/pic/00011xsw
