If it was an E-Class Coupe with some Brabus tuning, then I'd consider it.

Doesn't touch my sportscar in my book(esp since I don't consider that a sportscar).. I'd pay 1/2 that...it being owned by him might actually hurt its value in my mind.

Need and WANT are two totally different things... and yes I want the car, but I don't need it. Let alone afford a brake job for it.

$20K paint job??? Pretty much just looks like a black car to me. I'm with mrcarcrazy . . . the previous owner would be a reason for me to not want to buy the car. Driving around in SoCal, this pretty much looks like half the cars on the road . . . nothing special. For that kinda coin I can think of several other cars that have much stronger panty drop power.

I'm sorry but I don't care who owned that car I wouldn't buy it even if I only had to pay for the paint job. If I'm going to spend that kind of money it will have an Aston Martin badge on its @$$.

Now THAT'S a car.

I couldn't agree with you more. A quick story: This is my the guy who owns the company I work ats car. He traded a Lambo for it. He enlists me every once in a while to sell his toys for him thats y im here. I think if you are going to drop $100k+ on a car, at least make it something that stands out. He can only drive it 5 days a year because of the shitty weather here anyways. But i digress.
