Anyone play corn hole?

I recently got a new set. Anyone on here play? I love playing while smoking a pork shoulder and drinking cold beer.

Peter. Yeah? Watch out for your corn hole, bud.

Yeah, naming bean bags corn hole doesn't past the common sense test. It is just below the tea party voluntarily calling themselves "teabaggers".

It's called corn hole. Some call it corn toss. But it's not bean bags. Bean bags is what people who fill bags of corn but "logically" associate their anus with the term corn hole say so its more masculine. The bags are filled with corn, hence the name. Without calling it "corn bag toss" it's about as literal as can be. Makes more sense than football here in America.

There is money to be made ha. Custom boards here go for $150-200. And it's incredibly popular at colleges across the country. Kinda like horse shoes

Thanks for the explanation. I come from a place where we pinch tails and suck heads. So I guess it depends on your location to decipher the terms used.

If you're not from Louisiana then I have no idea what you're talking about or if you're being serious or a smart ass.

Yeah, that's where my mind went too.

As a child we played something similar, but it had a much different name than corn hole and I can't remember it.

It's not inherent to the game like beer pong or flip cup.
But if you go to almost any home SEC football game you'll see they go hand in hand ha.
And if you ever play a tip is holding something in non-throwing hand helps give balance to the throwing hand. And a beer just happens to fit the need perfectly ha.

Eh, I don't know. I still am not calling my buddy and asking, "You want to come over for a little one on one cornhole?" I have heard of people just calling it bags. That is what I would stick to. We actually have been playing a frisbee (damn hippy) based game with offensive assist points involved. It is can jam. And a beer in your non-throwing hand is a REQUIREMENT. It is a little more fun than most of these type games (er, cornhole, ladderball, hippy horshoes, etc.) because of the multi player involvement.

Indoors, long table shuffleboard all night...

Corn hole is like horse shoes. While technically 2 can play 4 is preferred.
The official name is corn hole tho so call it bags or corn toss.

If you're talking about ultimate frisbee that is a fun game. But if you are there is no way to play the way it's intended with a beer in hand. A lot of running, jumping, etc.
if your talking about frolf (frisbee golf) that can certainly be played with a cold one in hand.

I know this topic is old...but why make another one. I made some skins a while back that were Jeep themed for some corn hole boxes. I'll see if I can dig some pics up. He just laminated over them himself.
