I'll probably lean more towards "Owner" than "Jeeper." I don't even have a Jeep yet, but I will have one fairly soon.

This will be my first Jeep and I don't know a thing about them, other than the basics. I have no idea where any trails are in my area, or if there even are any.

The Jeep will be my only vehicle and it will need to last me a long time, so I'll have to go fairly easy on it.

As far as caring if people frown upon not using a Rubicon to its max potential, I really don't care. As far as I'm concerned, when one of the critics buys it, they can tell me how to drive it. Until then, I'll drive around in mall parking lots "climbing" parking blocks if it satisfies me.

You buy a jeep to increase your tool collection might make you a jeeper.

lets see i have always owned a jeep from a grand wagoneer to a j-10 truck, a cj and my current tj. also my baby a 48 willys cj-2a. i truly believe that buying stuff for you jeep is for people who own jeeps true jeepers will fab their own stuff. i feel i am a true jeeper. thats why JEEP stands for Just Enough Essential Parts. and then on the weekends my JEEP becomes a Just Empty Every Pocket. lol

I think that depends on who you talk to. Because I will never take him off roading, don't like my Jeep dirty, won't lift it, won't take the doors off, die hard Jeepers will say I am just a person who owns a Jeep. Either way, I truley don't care what others think. I own a Jeep...period. And if people like me didn't exist, then people who beat the sh1t out of their Jeeps couldn't find a nice used, well taken care of Jeep later on down the road. This is my second Jeep, first Wrangler and if people have a problem with the way I use MY jeep, well they can suck it!

X2. I got a Jeep because I wanted a Jeep. In fact, I've always liked Jeeps but simply hadn't ever gotten around to getting one; I've always gone for the Sports/Muscle Cars. I've wanted one for a few years now but couldn't bring myself to get rid of my STi for one. After my STi was wrecked I decided to punch the ticket.

It'll spend most of its life on the road as it is my daily driver and I need to take good care of it but I'll take it on some mild offroading journeys; some mud, fire roads, stuff like that.

Yes, I have a Rubicon, and no, I don't give a shit if you don't like the way I choose to use it or enjoy it. My money, my vehicle, my choice of how I wanna drive it. When someone else steps forth to pay my $460/mo payments, he/she can decide how it's to be used. Until then, I don't give a shit who approves and who doesn't.

For the record, I dunno the first thing about a CJ, YJ, TJ, or any other J, and I don't care. I don't own one so I don't need to know anything about'em.

That is all.

I'm pretty sure I'm a Jeeper considering I don't own a Jeep yet and I've already been talking to my dad about what kind of mods I should do..... and what engine we could throw in it when the engine dies.... and re-painted it (or at least adding a pearl coat).

My BF's Wrangler, trade-in value is $12,000 to $13,000...why you ask for an older Jeep for just a base model Wrangler (manual, no air conditioning with ABS breaks) with little to no mods (bigger tires, stainless stell muffler, after market audio, bikini top)?

Because it has less than 40,000 miles on it, it is in PERFECT condition. Waxed 3 times a year (by hand), washed 8 times a year (by hand), oil change 3 times a year and never seen a dirty road. Bumblebee has been well taken care of and nothing has ever gone wrong with the Jeep.

I doubt many what people think are REAL Jeepers can say that about their 2002 Jeep Wrangler X.
