I spent a bit of time there recently, namely in the library. Fascinating place, extremely informative and rare in its collection.

Any Cayce fans? Any spiritual voyagers out there?

Cheif, meaning no offense, but you've been around the block, huh? Dam Neck or Oceana base? And totally off topic, but do you know if the lighthouses on Fort Story are open to the public or not?

I don't imagine you buy in to the Cayce mistique, do you? His story of creation and Amilius is quite the tale, to say the least. Alhough there are some readings, particularly on health, that are extremely difficult to discredit.

Wrong or not, I now eat 3 almonds daily. Just in case.

I know enough to know there are a lot of things I don't know... I do know that the human machine is more complex and nuanced that can be imagined..

I haven't even THOUGHT about Fort Story in many, many years. I stayed at the lodge there once prior to a deployment, but honestly, other than vaguely remembering a lighthouse being there at some point, I wouldn't know if it were open.

No offense taken at all. Considering the only alternative, being an old timer is a good thing....

And I was TAD to the clinic at Oceana when a gal I was seeing took me to the institute. Spent more than a bit of time at Little Creek, Dam Neck, and of course Norfolk...

Lived down in Oceanside for a bit ...

I describe Atlantic Avenue as a five mile long T-shirt shop....
