Bad mouthing jeepers

Yesterday I met another jeep at a stop sign. I waved as I usually do. As the other jeep turned and went by me the guy actually slowed down and mouthed off about my clean jeep. I guess he thought he was being a bad ass with his friend in the jeep with him. I just turned left and went about my business. Yes I wash my Jeep and yes I take care of it. I tend to take care of things I spend my hard earned money on.

I should add that this is the first "unfriendly" jeepers that I have run into. The jeep community is an awesome group of folks and I am proud to be a jeep owner and part of the community. I guess every village has its idiot.

Amen. I am not scared to get my jeep dirty, but you can bet your a$$ when I get home it will get cleaned. I enjoy cleaning it as much as getting it dirty.

They're in every community, and very vocal. There are guys on this forum that probably claim to wash their jeeps with mud and gravel because they think it makes them seem tough. Let haters hate...

I tend to avoid mud , I mainly wheel on rocks so my rig may get some mud spray from the trails in the spring when snow is melting. But for the most part when I come back from wheeling my rigs are usually dusty. I learned long ago if you have a muddy rig your more Likely to get harassed by LEO's and The HOA

I had one today that I waved to at light next to me, and he looked at me and said that's so gay to wave at jeeps. I laughed and said back to him, if I wasen't married to a woman right now I would be tapping you a$$ then. He looked like I was on crack. LOL

It just shows that you're dammed if you do & dammed if you don't. Keep it clean & you're picked on, mud it up or dust it up & you're picked on.

Don't worry, just do what you do. Some people are either busy making them selves feel better in front of others OR they have nothing better to do.

Rock on!!! :-)

Some Jeepers like chrome. Some like "mud bling". I wave to them all, and couldn't care less if they like my Wrangler or not. I like all of them, stock, rock-crawler, mall-terrain vehicles, etc.. To each his own.
You're new here. Welcome

For the amount they cost, and for some its a dreaded monthly payment I say there is nothing wrong with taking care of it. I also see nothing wrong with getting it dirty. I guess some people are better off when they have an open mind. lol! A jeep is a jeep no matter what! I like em all.
