Bail-out money

Everyone wants some. Is this what the money was for? Why should BofA have to cover this company?

This bail out is a terrible Idea, they ought to just give that money to the people that work and pay taxes so they can get out of debt

They ought to give the money back to the chinese. We have no money. we are broke. the bailout money is a feeble attempt to slow water rushing in, it's the looting of the passengers before the ship sinks.
Ahhh what the hell. Like I said in another thread, looks like a damn fine time to hit the reset switch cuz aint nothing gonna to fix the mess they've made.

And thus "bail them out" by giving them money they didn't earn? How's that any different?

That whole thing sickens me. I've worked for companies that have just closed doors. Crap happens. Now if they were shady and hid money, assets, then go after them but you'll take them down and that's that, no new company or jobs.

Jesse Jackson got in on it too. He makes me gag.

Blago just cares about votes etc. He's a real piece of work. I live in IL. I need to get a job in cook county as some type of official. I could work a week or two and then be set for life with a sweet pension. I'm in Kane county, they aren't much better. My taxes on my house are up about 200 bucks a month over the past two years and the only way I could sell is for about 80G less than the fair market value of what it is tax assessed for. Basically I am looking to make about 150 grand less on my house than I could have sold it for about 4/5 years ago. WTF

I am hoping Blago will get to join Ryan in his cell. That man would sell out his own mother.

I guess he bought off YouTube. Seems that's his method of operation.

BTW.... the feds took him away in handcuffs. Seems he was trying to sell the senatorial seat of Barack to the highest bidder.

Hummmmmm, the government trying to force banks to make ill advised loans to people who probably won't be able to pay them back......

sounds hauntingly familiar.

Add a count of extortion to Blago's rap sheet.

China is making ill advised loans to us at this point. In case you have not noticed, the banks are the government.

Yup, and China is starting to say, "get your economy in order!"
I'll see if I can find the link to that. Found it...

I wonder what would happen if we bailed them out, and then they moved HQ to Dubai or something like HAL did and left the American taxpayer holding the bag. I suspect if there was ever a law against it that it has been thoroughly dismantled at this stage in the game.

It's a building supplier, they are in all in the toilet, hence it would be a poor loan decision and wasn't that what started this whole freakin mess. Damn people, can't have it both ways.

Ha, heard about Blago, so maybe he will get a cell with Ryan after all. Bout time they figured out what most of the citizens knew all along.

Thats what got me. The employees of this company feel entitled to the bailout money, either from BofA or the Govt. They compared themselves to GM and Chrysler.

We agree on where we are once you take the politics out of it. We disagree on how we got there and how best to bring us through what's coming.
