Bats

OH MAH GAWD! I hate those little fawkers! Mice, Snakes, Spiders, Rats....No prob what-so-ever. Not so much on the bats.
Tearing the old aluminum siding off the house last week and ran into 4 of them. It has got to be a funnay site to see a 6'4" 185# grown man jump 7' down off an extension ladder shreiking like a little girl.
Yes I had to do the look around thing to make sure noe of the neighbors saw it.

Bats are so cute. I'd love to hold one, but... you know... the whole rabies thing is a drag.

Bats are cool. They're a "helpful" species. They eat more harmful insects than all of the bug-zappers in all of redneckdom. They're really cute, too... girlie-man.

I had one under my porch overhang. He was a little brown bat and I don't know why he was there, but he was so cute. I wanted to grab him and squeeze him.

Their very fragile little creatures, I would compare them to a thin water balloon full of poo.

No no no , they are not cute, sweet , or squeezeable. They are nasty little bastids.
They are actually endangered here and illegal to kill here. I haven't had on in the house in years, however if I were to get one inside, I'd consider it tresspassing and threatening my saftey. At that point the tennis racket comes out and said bat would be disposed of.

maybe they do get tougher as you head east. Never had one explode on the windshield either. It makes more of a sound compared to say, hitting a bouncy ball for instance.

Have one fly into your hair sometime and after that tell me again how cute they are.
I have a feeling your opinion may change.

Your feeling is wrong, Noise. I've had one fly into my face and then get tangled in my hair. I still think they're cute. So... man up sissy-boy.

@ june bugs. No way a bat here could eat what we call june bugs unless it was a huge bat, or baby june bug. Our june bugs are typically as big as a quarter.
