Best item to resell?

So I have $300 credit through ARB, and I'll get dealer pricing, too. I can put money on top of the credit if whatever I want exceeds the 300 bucks but there's not a whole lot that I want. Everything is pretty expensive. I was interested in some rock sliders possibly but they don't make them for YJs. Does anyone think that any specific thing would be better to resell than another? I'm not looking to turn a profit, just to get the credit and whatever I put on top back, plus shipping. Maybe this is a stupid question, but thanks in advance.

So I found it in the catalog and there's 2, the 12 volt and the 24 volt. Which one did you want? Jim told me to let him know what I'd like and he will give me a price on it, so let me know which model, the CKMA12 or CKMA24, so I can email him and get a price. How would you give me the money? Paypal?

I just emailed Jim asking for a price on both the 12 and 24 volt models. I'm not sure what you'd want so I asked about both. I should have an answer from him tomorrow.

I'm waiting on the email back from JIM@ARB then I'll let you know on pricing and stuff. Usually on bank transfers I get charged some fee. And since I'll already be using gas and running around to get this thing shipped to you, I don't want to pay extra fees too.

So I got the email back from Jim and he said $180 for the compressor. I would really like to get the whole $300 credit from them, so is there anything else you want to make it $300 or a little more? I could put whatever extra on top as long as you could cover it.

I'm not sure what else you'd need, theres tons of recovery gear and stuff, I just thought since I'm helping you get $400 off, you'd help me and spend a few more bucks to make us both happy.

the compressor is small and can be shipped by normal postal service (i hope so). the other things i would want are more expensive to ship...
but iīll take a look at their website tomorrow.

you have to pay a fee when i make a bank transfer to your bank account?

i found some more things i would want to buy.

- ARB Competition Diff Cover D30
- ARB Competition Diff Cover D44
- only this like a "T" looking piece to connect some normal air hoses to the compressor:

could you please find out what these parts would cost and what shipping to hamburg, germany would cost?
you could make a parcel that looks like a birthday present p.e. for presents up to 275$ i wouldnīt have to pay the german VAT (19%).

EDIT:
try to get a online quote here. http://www.dhl-usa.com/home/Home.asp
i live in hamburg, germany and my postal code is 22761.

Yeah when I've been wired money they charge me a 8 or 12 dollar fee I'm pretty sure.

OK...that bank fee I'm not too worried about. I just wanna make sure I can get all the free money from ARB as I can...you can't blame me can ya? They told me I have 300 bucks to spend I don't wanna just spend 180 and let them keep what remains. Thanks for the help with this Nico. I'll do all I can to make it work out good for you as long as you do the same for me. Thanks again Nicolas-eric

No, Jim didn't get back to me today. He is usually good about quick responses, so hopefully I'll hear from him tomorrow. I didn't ask him about shipping rates, I'll probably have him just ship the stuff to me, then I'll bring it to the post office and have it sent to you. I imagine shipping will be pretty expensive, what do you want to do about that?

jeep parts cost twice in germany than in the US. when you know the shipping rates (you have to know the weight and measurements of the parcel), please tell me what it would cost. i think it shoul be about 50-60$ and that will be ok for me.

I work mostly in a shipping and recieving dept. of a drag race motorcycle shop so I know all about that stuff. I'd send it through the shop but we use the post office for international stuff. Your shipping quote will probably have to wait until I get the packages, right? Have you checked on anything else you might want? I sent him an email about D30, D44 diff covers, and that little fitting you needed. Maybe it didn't go through to him, I'll try sending it again tonight if I don't have an answer from him by then. It may have been directed to his spam folder since I put a website as the subject, to show him that fitting you needed, since I can't paste into the body of an email.

Nico- Jim told me 120 for each diff cover. He said they do have that fitting, but didn't give me a price. But that does work good for one diff cover and that compressor, that is $300. Then I can pay him for shipping if need be, and you reimburse me when you pay for it all. Does this sound fair? Should I tell him to ship me the compressor and a cover? I can't reply to him and ask about the price of the fitting because Yahoo is messing up and I can't compose emails, it happens once in a while. Let me know.
Thanks
Matt

Which ever cover you want, I can get for you. I'll get the D44 from ARB, you get the D30 from 4wdparts?

I'll send Jim an email in just a few minutes and tell him that I want CKMA12 and a D44 diff cover. I just sent him my locker back on monday, so he should have it tomorrow if not today, so it might take a few days for that whole deal to get processed. I'll keep you updated as Jim keeps me updated, and once I recieve the parts I'll give you the shipping quote and bank stuff.

I'm glad we can both help eachother out here. Thanks Nico

So Yahoo is doing the same thing as it was yesterday; when I click either 'Compose' or 'Reply', it takes me to where I can write an email, but only shows the place for email address and subject. No where to write the main body of the email. It's happened to me before and just went away pretty shortly. Hopefully it'll go away soon.

thank you, thatīs perfect. now i can order the D30 ARB cover and the other things at 4wd.com.

please be sure that itīs the CKMA12 and not the CKSA12 compressor. 4wd.com sent me the wrong one when i ordered my lockers, thatīs why i have the small compressor at the moment...

CKMA12:

CKSA12:

btw. i already sold my old ARB compressor for 230$, in the shops i costs 280$ over here...

EDIT: i saw where you live. perhaps we can meet us in spring 2009. i will visit my ex-girlfriends uncle then in sausalito.
