Best site for gun sale

What is the best site for gun buying/selling? I have an AR15 that I am about to part with.

I have used gunbroker.com on a few occasions with good results.
Understand that you will still need to have FFL dealers on each side of the transaction.

I'd post in the off topic section here and see if anyone is interested. I'm sure there would be plenty of people, including me that wouldnt mind another AR.

3X Gunbroker unless you are only interested in a local sale. In that case I've had good luck with "Backpage.com" Kinda like a Craigslist for guns.

birmingham classifieds for apts, jobs, and items for sale - backpage.com

and it would be deleted immediately, as it would very much be against the community rules

One FFL holder (at the most) isn't enough?

FFL isn't always necessary.........
But going with FFL one would generally ship from one FFL holder to another.

No you dont. One FFL holder is enough to ship a firearm. Box it up well. If they question you, its going for repair. I just shipped a 16lb long arm from oregon to baton rouge la. No problemo!!!

Only if you don't understand the applicable regulations.

FFL dealer to dealer may be required by the receiving FFL. It's up to the individual FFL holder if they will receive it from an individual. The shop I work at requires it come from another dealer.

It's a matter of calling around on the buyers part and finding one that in receive a firearm from an individual.

I have used armslist as well. Its just like craigslist for guns but without the spam. I got $1500 for my plain jane AR in 2 days and it was local.
