Bestop tonneo cover

Hey I have a question about the tonneo cover. Can you place it to where it fits over the soft top while the soft top is still mounted on the frame of the jeep. I have my tonneo on right now. It's been a rainy the last week or so. And it takes to long to have to mount the hinges on the soft top.

Any suggestions?

I believe they make two kinds. One to be mounted with the soft top frame still mounted and one without the frame. I had one designed for with the frame but it had been stored all winter by the p.o. So it shrunk too much to use with the frame but not enough for without it. A tailgate bar is a necessity too or it won't fit right. Hopefully geoff sees this and can provide more assistance

I stand on the hitch receiver and gently toss the top forward.

Actually the duster looks better with a soft top under it. When I first got mine I went like that a lot-but lost/missed that extra space when on vaca or getting groceries. So I removed my soft top and left it off each summer for the last 4-5 years.

I recently let it go to a fellow Forum member that required us to meet an hours drive away. I just put the soft top back in place as if it was folded down and drove to meet them-no problem. I left the frame mounts until this past winter when I got my half top.

The duster may not fit "quite as well" but it is do-able. I have a Bestop Bikini wraparound jammer and duster.

as near as I can tell it looks right---quick question --did you latch the windshield latches already? If FULLY latch them it is pretty much impossible to get the back end tucked in the belt rail.
