Thumbs up Bill Cosby in next election

i found this on another forum, he's got my vote:

I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE. HERE IS MY PLATFORM:

(1) Press 1 for English is immediately banned. English is the official language; speak it or wait at the border until you can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. NO imports, no exports. We will use the 'Walmart' policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.

(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border.
(six month tour) They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nuttin in, you ain't gettin nuttin out. The
president nor any other politician will not be able to touch it.

(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of
urinalysis and a passing grade.

(7) Professional Athletes --Steroids-- The FIRST time you check positive you're banned for life.

(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more 'life sentences'. If convicted, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim; gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

(9) One export will be allowed; Wheat. The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.

(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease , and the saved money will pay off the
national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people
if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause.

(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes but a vote for me will get you better than what you have, and better than what you're gonna get.

Thanks for listening, and remember to write in my name on the ballot in 2012

God Bless America !!!!!!!!!!!

Which would not make much of a difference at all.

I’m particularly enjoying the image of my dad in a gun tower with Parkinson’s medicated up to his eye balls and hallucinating.

But then posts like this are not literal or intended to be serious, rather they are intended to focus peoples anger on rhetorical bluster because real solutions are not simple if they exist at all.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/platform.asp

I guess it is kind of funny to attach Bill Cosby’s name to this…

I see these emails more and more and I know they're spawned from anger over the direction of the country, but dang Bill Cosby? And bringing back Jello Pudding Pops isn't on the list? I'm voting for someone else.

obviously this isn't totally serious, but i do like bill cosby. he doesn't care about people's feelings he says what he means. he pissed off his own people (for lack of a better term) when he went on about how they need to get off their butts, quit complaining, quit being victims, quit talking about reperations, and better themselves.

and now this, i love it. straight to the point, no nonsense, common sense. and people get offended over it.

We all have to be realistic to the FACT that there are SO many people out there with absolutely NO common sense at all... whatsoever and for some odd reason....they always seem to be the first to piss n moan about anything n everything AND they seem to sincerely believe that they KNOW ALL... I am a firm believer in straight-up honesty, no b.s. and that is a tough pill to swallow for the common sense lacking know-it-alls who cannot seem to be REALISTIC about differing subject matter and thatz all i am gonna say for now on that one....

so our current president hasn't already given us a huge glimpse of what a hoax his campaign was. he's spending too much already, passing bills to rediculously increase abortions and now embrionic stem cell research, but while he was talking to christians he said he wouldn't do that. and the health care that bush kept vetoing cuz of how expensive it is, and crap he's doing already.

i'd take cosby. besides, he'll promise jello for everyone.

And we shouldn’t resist, but Obama is not flagged on Snopes yet (see link above). I guess everyone knows political rhetoric is just that, and that there are checks and balances, sort of, that ensure no one running for political office has a chance in hell of dictating what he or she feels would be best—promised or not.

i'm lost on the snopes link . and why does everyonoe look at snopes like its the gospel, they are just as bias as any other group. there is no such thing as a real news group anymore, and then obama wants to make a law where a liberal has to be on with a conservative on a conservative talk radio show. i never heard anyone try to pass laws about our 98% liberal media.

edit: found the snopes link.

A dash of believability is the core ingredient of well crafted propaganda.

Placing retired military personnel in towers with guns though could be the most interesting. I’m not sure we should limit this to border patrol however. Could work in urban areas, mall parking lots, and many other places.

I have a good friend that speculates what the species actually needs is a superior predator that would randomly devour people. The thinking is that is would sober people up and help them prioritize.

The tower solution would be quick, and we wouldn’t have to wait for evolution.

i think letting natural selection have its way again. i just said this on another forum where a teenager lost his arm cuz they climbed a fence and got on some kind of oil drilling machine or some thing. the grandfather is blaming how easy it was to turn the machine on

ever since that dumb woman burned her lap w/ mc d's coffee its been down hill. we need to quit protecting the idiots, its a parents job to teach a child whats right, and if they're too stupid they won't survive. done.

the dumb kid will probably win millions in a law suit

To add to this stop CHILD PROOFING homes. When you guys were growing up did your parents lock everything(cabinets, electrical outlets) The issue I see(22 mind u) is kids these days are being protected from well being kids.I used to run down the street bare foot all the time and the rule was no complaining if i hurt my feet. If I was playing with something that could hurt me it was not drag me away from it my parents gave me the choice and that is what made me the person I am today.

Horse hooves. Grind them up, cook them down, add high-fructose corn syrup (subsidized by tax money), and then people pay a markup to eat them. Brilliant and delicious.

People like cavediver are "x" and "retired" military too, and there are a lot of them. It doesn't have to be a 75 year old with shaky hands.

And that really would enhance to the random element. I don’t know the ins and outs of discharged, honorably or otherwise, and retired.
