So there I am, cruising out to get some medicine, when I look up to see 2 Prius' and a hybrid Camry passing me.

All I could do is hang my head in shame, lol. Just wish I had a pic...

My Jeep, much like myself, is built for comfort, not for speed.

Forget a hybrid ! My 89 Honda gets average of 38-40 mpg. And I can still pass all the hybrids. Ha. I had a semi go around me on a 2 lane hwy once in my jeep. I just giggled to myself about it.

I was doing 70 on the freeway a few weeks ago and I had a Smart Car pass me like I was just sitting there.

Until they hit a bump, yes. At that moment they are no longer an smart car, but a smart plane.

My wife's car is a Prius and believe it or not they are pretty quick and responsive at highway speed. Alot faster than my jeep. Lower speeds not so much.. I really enjoy driving it when we go on long road trips too 57MPG saves me money to spend with the family instead of dumping it all in at the pump..

I'm thinking of Expendables 2 where they just rip the doors right off and treat the car like a Tonka truck. Ha ha ha!
