Built up a Radio Flyer!

I just wanted to show this thing off. I finished building a Radio Flyer Wagon for my little boy. I lifted it 5 inches and blacked out the whole thing just like mine!

What do you all think? Any improvements I should make? I hope this will be good for parks and parades car shows etc.

I used some 3/4" heavy duty PVC. It holds up to 195 pounds because i stood in it. The hardest part was the axle. They needed to be longer and wider. I'm thinking about mounting some kind of a seat in there and a canopy too.

Oh yeah a cooler, I didn't think of that. I'll have to build a frame on the back of it for a small cooler.

There goes the cooler...

Also, heat will eventually warp the PVC pipe, unless it is properly supported. If you want this to last long term, you might want to invest in EMT or rigid electrical conduit. It will stand up to being run down the hill without adult supervision.

Now to hide this thread so my grandsons don't see it. Looks great and I'm sure they would want one, if they knew about it.

I plan on this only being temporary because it started out as just messing around, then it got interesting. I want to build it with a metal frame and coilover suspension someday soon!

Haha no booze involved in this one, or underpants.. I get so bored working a desk job that I have to have projects to keep me sane!

So what you are saying is you were sitting at your desk...with NO underpants...building a wagon...

NOT something I really wanted to visualize

Actually, they are already out there. Go to any NASCAR race and you will find variations.

Well that's depressing. So much for my cool, original idea.
