EDIT: US to Canada

Any one from Canada have any info for me on the following...

1. If my personal exception is 800$ and I bring back 5 wheels worth 950$ do I have to pay on 150$ or all 950$?

2. If I purchase a utility trailer at Lowe's is there anything special to know? Is it treated the same as a vehicle? The trailer is manufactured in Georgia so does that make it duty exempt?

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Try here for a definitive answer:

Non-Canadians

You can call them and they can answer specific example questions.

Hey thanks. I could phone also but they were closed for the weekend. I didn't explain but I wanted to phone and purchase the trailer so I could insure it prior to driving down tomorrow. I was working the $ to see if it was worth the 200$ saving to pick it up in the US.

Cheers
