Car you drove before u got your jeep...

What kind of car did you drive before you bought your jeep, if you have any pics post please post it will interesting. I had a 1991 Toyota 4runner which i did like but gave me to many problems with the head gaskets and also with the engine block so sold it and it only had 134k miles. Best thing that i ever did was buying my JEEP. F@#$@# Toyota. here are some pics.

2003 Dodge 3500 dually, Cummins HO turbo diesel 4x4 auto, Reese class5 hitch. Reese 20,000 lb combo 5th wheel and gooseneck hitch.
I owned it for a business, when fuel prices went insane I had to shut down and sell it.
I miss my truck

Before I had my YJ, I had an '84 Honda CRX. For a young, single woman, that thing was fun! But, I traded up to a jeep. Even more fun!
Then, we traded my jeep in on Skeeter's business truck and I got a good, practical, 2003 KIA Spectra. When he sold his truck, Skeeter said he owed me a jeep, so I got to get my '99 TJ and he got his "91 YJ.

Before I had my TJ I drove a 4 Door 99 Chevy Tracker. I know I know, don't ask. It was a bad ex-wife moment. Since I've had my TJ I have also had an 04 Ram. Got tired of two payments and got rid of it.

I drove a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT, a car I absolutely loved to death. Seriously, I still think it is the finest CAR ever made.

Here she is:

Of course, then I did this to her

As a result of that I deliberately bought a vehicle that I wouldn't even care about, a 2005 Ford Escape, a car so boring that you could even forget you were driving it at all. That was exactly what I wanted, that way I wouldn't be spending any more time on message boards devoted to my vehicle or planning upgrades or in any other way obsessing about it.

Then I bought a Jeep........

My last ride was a 2003 Chevy S-10 Extended cab. Boring. No pic. I traded my 99 TJ for it to save gas when I was commuting into Dallas (dumba$$ smiley here). I saved gas but had a higher payment. Doh!
How about your first car? Mine was a 1976 Chevy Chevette called the Little Red Chevette (like Prince's Little Red Corvette). That damn car is probably still running the streets of Amarillo.

My Jeep is my weekend toy so I'm still driving the vehicle that I had before I got my Jeep.

I have a dark cherry 2006 Mazda 6 Grand Sport...I absolutely love it.

Before that I had a white 2001 Subaru Legacy GT Limited...thought I would love it but it ended up being the biggest lemon that I ever owned (that's why I have the Mazda) first the head gasket went, a year later the block cracked then it was one thing after the next with that car.

I also had a green 1994 Mazda MX6 - awesome car but with 200k on it, it was time for a new vehicle. I refused to trade it in so I kept it solely for the purpose of transporting my dive gear because I didn't want to smell up the Subaru. Ended up giving it away 2 years ago.

Red 1988 or 1989 (can't remember) MX6 GT - fast car but my ex convinced me to trade it for the 1994.

Ford Taurus...hated it...Mercury Sable...hated it...and a Toyota Tercel...had a lot a character.

Have had several cars before my current Jeep. Had a subaru imprezza and a honda accord for a few months.

But the last one that I had for any real length of time was a 98 ZJ 5.9 Limited. Here is a pic of that one:

My first car was a '72 VW Super Beetle. If I'd known more about how to fix engines then, I'd still have that Bug today. It could go almost anywhere a stock jeep can go. It was just about indestructible. Don't ask me how I know.

Are you sure you won't look down on me??

14 year old girl was driving her boyfriends car. Totaled my car while it was parked on a public street. So I got the jeep.

Some of my past vehicles.

This was right after I sold it. This was my first vehicle and I dumped heart and soul into it.

454
4l80
9" rear
complete repaint
bedlined frame
bell tech super C section
tons of mods.

It ran 12.036 at HPT

3 weeks after selling this truck to a younger kid he rearended a big rig. It went to the junk pile

This was my first extended cab pulling my old mans BBQ pit

This is my current 3/4ton HD

The wifes beauty.

I've had other vehicles but can't find pictures.

Yeah, the guy who bought mine still drives it to work everyday. Mine had a 390 bored out 40 over. white with a red interior. It was a boat, but it would leave a wake.

My first car, was a "65" Ford Galaxy. 3 on the tree, and a 283 ci engine. Two door, that I bought from a pastor, that was moving west, for $300.00. That was my pride and joy, at 15 yrs of age. Since then, I bought a Honda Accord, the first year the were for sale in the USA, for a whopping $2,300.00 brand spanking new. Then I got into motorcycles, and had quite a few of those over the years. Bought a brand new F-150 short bed, with roll bars, 4 speed, and 4X4, in 78, for about $5,300, and sold it two years later for $5,500.00.........that is what got me hooked on 4 wheeling. The list is long, and I won't bore you any longer. The thing that got me into the Jeeps, was taking several trips to CO, and finding things that my 02 Chevy Silverado could not do, and being the kind of person that I am, I could not have an obstacle beat me, so I went into town, and rented a stock Jeep, that made the obstacle that my Chevy could not do, look like a walk in the park. The rest is just plain simple. If you want to wheel off road, GET A JEEP !!!!!!!!
