Lightbulb Cell Phones...(LG enV Touch)

Hey Jeepers.

Contract time is now up and it's time for a new phone.
Right now, the only one that seems to interest me much is the LG enV Touch.
Just wondering if any of you have this phone and what your opinions are of it.

I've seen quite a few reviews, and for the most part, I like what I see.
One of the things that these reviews leave out is CALL QUALITY.
Sure, it's a multimedia powerhouse, but it's still a phone right? LOL!
No one ever talks about how the call quality is, and I think that's funny.
Yes, I'd like to hear about all the neat little things that it can do as well,
but being that IT'S A PHONE, I'd sure like to know how the PHONE functions work.

btw...how are the speakers on it?
are they loud so you can hear your calls in a noisy environment?

right now, I have a phone that has dual speakers on the front of the clam that allows for full stereo sound instead of mono.
does this phone have one or two?

I have the env2 (not the touch version). Calls are great. Crisp and clear.

I think C/NET (Product reviews and prices, software downloads, and tech news - CNET) reviews calling service on their phone reviews (at least for phones I've looked at they do).

Speakers are just ok. I guess as good as cell phone speakers really get.

I had the EnV touch, great phone and very easy to use. The call quality is great and fits good in the hand. They are pretty good priced too. If I were to get another phone this would be it or the other "new" EnV. Speakers aren't bad but I use bluetooth. You can get GPS on it if you need it, and has a little internet browser too! If you want a durable and overall good phone buy this man.

Thanks guys.

I haven't heard of that "tour", might have to look it up.
I try to stay away from Blackberry's jus because I find them to be a bit bulky.
Great phones though.

I was leery about LG's as well.
I know someone who has gone through 4 of them in the 2 year term that I've had my Samsung. Don't know if she abused the phones, or if they were just crappy.
But as far as the enV Touch goes, it SEEMS pretty solid.

Good to hear that the call quality is good on that phone.
For some reason, people tend to leave that out in their reviews.
To me, that's the most important part of the phone.

Keep em' comin.
