Chain Lubricant that Prevents Icing

My driveway gate is moved by an electric motor that drives a long chain pulling it open and closed.

When we have wintery weather the chain gets icy and doesn't pull the gate as it should.

Is there a lubricant that doesn't freeze that I could use on the chain?

^^

And if it does get iced up, get a gallon of methyl hydrate and put it in a squirt bottle, it will get into the links of the chain and melt ice quickly, then reapply your graphite lube.

Kerosene, will clean, lubricate and will not freeze in most temperatures.
Just dump some into a can, and apply it with a brush!
