its something that got me thinking what has this world come to and what will it be.. half of europe is still going strong in radiation and wont be cleared in another few thousand years

I my self was curious for a long time what radiation is and how effective it is.. this is the best example i've ever seen

ps if its inapropriate feel free to remove it..

the atomic power plant accident in chernobyl happenden exactly 21 yeras ago.
it´s about 2000 miles away from germany but we had many problems in that times.
children had to play only inside the houses for a long time. most of the wild living animals were contaminated. hunted animals were not allowed to eat for many years. most of all european vegetables were also contaminted.

i think we had much luck. it could have been much more bad than it was.

such pictures we see every year at april 26th in tv. on april 26th 1986 was that bad accident.

I didn't look, because I'm too soft hearted.

I only like radiation that gives you super powers.

QFE, I saw pictures in history class while I was in highschool of what the our atom bomb did to the people of hiroshima.

Anything that will burn a shadow into a wall is not kosher.

It also says on it the power plant melt down let more radiation out than the 2 bombs exploded.. hiroshima and the other one. The pics are not something that discusting but will make you think of it if it comes up in a conversation...

I try to be positive but I think mankind is slowly destroying itself.

Thats the way everything works. As every specie advances they create many usefull things to connect with eachother and live a better life while at the same time they create things to protect themselves untill everything goes boom and thats the end of everything in a nutshell. Imagine if the nuclear reaction was alot more powerfull than it really is the end could have been then.

Something else wird is the Aztecs the ones that created the calendar (something that is never wrong) had december 2012 marked in there as a special event.

In full agreement with this one. I use to loose sleep when I was in school worried about Nukes during the end of the Cold War, with all the Red Scare propaganda was running wild. Man, for the most part, resembles/exhibits the traits of a virus.

Mayan not Aztec, The Mayan long count calender is mathematically and astronomically brilliant but I'm not aware of it actually predicting anything that couldn't have been predicted mathematically, it simply ends on 2012.
YMMV

They use similar systems.
Here's a good overview.
