Chris Botti jazz concert - Dec 8th 2007 - AZ

yesterday me and my niece, Caprice, (yes, that rhimes) went to the Chris Botti concert here in Phoenix at the Celebrity Theater. The Celebrity Theater is pretty cool venue cuz the stage slowly rotates and every seat is a good seat. Ours was especially good because we were in the 2nd row.

They really jammed (an understatement). Mark Whitfield was there playing his red laquered hollow bodied guitar (he was here in Phx two years ago with Chris on his last tour at the Mesa theater). The double bass and drummer kicked butt.

Was a great show, and Caprice got to talk and get a photo or two with Chris after the show.

Good times

I never really got into jazz that much. It's looks like a good time and a packed house.
