Nice! Sounds like a good time. The most west I've been is Alabama... So, I'm pretty sure I'd like it there.

no, there are just so many chooses its a little bit overwhelming. i was looking at a 5vegas sampler: 30 cigars with a 100 cigar humidor for i think 150-125. i cant look up the price because my work internet blocks it.

the cigarintl.com said they are good cigars, but they are trying to sell them.

Just saw this thread and wanted to join in. I don't consider myself an afficionado but do enjoy cigars on a pretty regualuar basis.

My normal smoke is a Romeo y Julieta Anniversario Churchill.

Since I saw it earlier in the thread. I too use a Wine Fridge for my cigars but it is setup exclusively for my cigars (we have another wine fridge for the wine). Being in Vegas I need something that will help cool the cigars as well as maintain the humidty. if you find an older Wine Fridge that has a mechanical thermostat, you can tweak the calibration screw on it and get it so the Cigar Fridge doesnt cool down as much. I was able to get mine to maintain a nice 69 degrees.

There is also a device that you could plug the wine fridge into, that then plugs into the wall outlet. It has a small thermometer probe that you would run into the fridge and then you just tell the device what temp to be at and it will turn off and on power to the fridge as needed.

Haven't had a chance to ask him. Called several times but he's either on duty or trying to move down to the Jersey shores. He misses surfing, as much as he did in P.R., so he's trying to relocate to the best locations that he can in the area he's in. He has told me about the food, not as good as Cuban, in his opinion but close. We both love Caribean food, cury meats, Jerk Chicken and Pork, patties, so I told him NYC is the next best place to get that kinda foods! He was in Key west for a few months also.

He he.... Mama's used to be the place. I spent a couple of weeks TDY down to Key West doing drug ops. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put a Navy base next to Duval Street must have been on crack. My liver still isn't the same. Smoked a cigar in front oh Hemmingway's mansion, which was pretty cool....

Sound awesome. I've flown friends to the keys a couple times. Spent the day on key west and rented scooters. Tons of fun

I've been smoking cigars for almost 20 years. I'm kind of a rarity in Utah, pretty much relegated to when out driving or my back yard. Lately my favorites are: Oliva V, Padron 1964 Maduro, AF Hemingway Maduro either WOA or Classic.

I was just checking my humidor and realize I need to restock. I don't buy many full boxes but 5 or 10 from Cigars At Your Price.

It would be nice if we were able to get good Cuban cigars legally.

Why? Most of the big names are growing on other islands and their cigars are just as good as the cuban smokes. It's more hype than taste ate this point.

Dont get me wrong there are cuban smokes that are excellent but I just cant justify buying cuban cigars anymore when there are so many other great cigars out there.

You mean these big names?

Cohiba
Bolivar
Hoyo de Monterrey
La Gloria cubana
Montecristo
Partagas
Punch
Romeo y julieta

These are true Cuban cigars whose names were robbed by other countries.

Don't get me wrong i like these same brands by other countries, but I would love to be able to buy the real thing as well.

Don't really smoke cigars, but about a year ago I smoked a few Monte Cristo's. Quite tasty.

I smoke at Victory Cigar down the street in Sudbury Massachusetts. I don't really keep a humidor anymore since I moved to the area.

Half way thru a Gran Habano Connecticut right now. A relaxing and enjoyable pastime. There is some real crap out there though. Cigars do not have to be expensive to be enjoyable.
