It is sad that we have people that consider themselves part of the greatest conference in NCAA but root for the Ducks because they dont like Auburn. I really dont like Bama but will stand behind them against an non SEC team. Just my 2˘

It's perfectly normal to hate your rival, you think the Ohio State fans like to see michigan win...
They don't even call them by their name...(the team up north). I'll bet that if Michigan played For the National Championship that Ohio State fans would pull for the other team.
Just my 3 cents...

True story. I'd totally pull for any SEC team first.

I completely understand Alabama fans not pulling for Auburn. I'll pull for the SEC but not Bama if that makes sense. So if Bama played Oregon in the BCS, I wouldn't say RTR. but I would say Let's go SEC. But if someone like Georgia played them in the BCS, Go Dawgs all day! The fact that other fans don't do that just because were Auburn kills me.

It makes sense to me. If memory serves right bama/auburn, Oregon/Oregon ST, Michigan/Ohio are the three oldest college rivalries.

Ducks beavs being the longest.

Most notable players to come out of Uconn so far are Dan Orlovsky of winless Detroit (stepping out of the back of the endzone ugg), did well with what he had last year in Indy and is now #2 at the Bucs. Also Donald Brown of the Colts. A few other lineman are doing well currently.

(Since I hate basketball, and the Whalers are gone, all I have is Uconn Football here in CT. CT SUCKS for sports teams.).
I'm a Pats fan but try getting a ticket to ANY football team in the Tri State area.

Taken last Thursday nite:
See, that wasn't so hard now was it? Glad to have you pulling for your team. Not gonna bust on the big east. I only popped on the sec when someone popped on the big 10 first. Fly your Huskies colors with pride my friend! You are proud enough of your team declare your allegence to them and not just a conference.

Well...... I see OS is playing another team not ranked in the top 50........wait, their first month of games are against non top 50 teams also known as "who" ? 8 home games ? I can hear it already,we've played nobody but we should be # 1...LOL !

OS plays UCF at noon. Google UCF......small program near Disney. I'm going on record saying OS does not beat the Vegas 18 point spread ! Hell.....I'm picking a upset...lol !

Let's see, LSU will play a PAC team, even with all the injuries for LSU.....that should be over early.

Enjoy your College game day.......and beer !

Lots of parity anymore in NCAA football

That's why a top ten team gets beat nearly every week.

Bama is pretty good, but USC almost got beat by Syracuse. That team up north almost lost to Air Force.

I predict we'll see some revolting developments with the SEC teams in the future, just like happened to OSU. As a guy I know who played major college football told me, they ALL cheat, it's just how good they hide it.

As for now, I can't wait to see a playoff for the National Championship. The way it should have always been.

"Almost got beat" is not even a vaguely reasonable description of the game.

Without a dought the SEC will win another national championship. It will be interesting to see who else falls in where !

USC will be hanging around all year due to playing no one other than the ducks.....that could go either way ! Must be nice to only have to focus on one or two games a year....and rest your best all year!

I will recogniize greatness no matter what conference it comes from, unlike others. Today would have been Paul William "Bear" Bryant's 99th birthday.
Happy Bearthday!!!
