I'm thinking about getting a two inch lift. What else would I need to get to go with it?

Depends on the kit. You'll probably want bumpstops at least. Maybe some new shocks, maybe some extended sway bar links, maybe a rear trackbar relocation bracket, maybe maybe maybe.

Shocks. And bump stops. That's it. Everything else works fine with it. (That's what I have) but it wouldn't be a bad idea to do the full replacement kit if money's available. That's what I'm saving for now

Hey guys! I'm new to jeeps and WF and figured i'd introduce myself in the college jeepers thread, considering i'm in college. lol but anyways I bought a '98 Sahara 4.0 auto 2 weeks ago. So far i've ordered but haven't installed yet- 2" skyjacker BB, 1" BL, 32" Duratracs, and Polks for the soundsbar & dash I've already made my own DIY quick disco's, took the side steps off, bumper end caps, painted headlight bezels and other some small stuff. It's my DD and I'm on a college kid budget so I have to keep it reasonable ): i'm sure you guys know how I feel lol. Here's a pic the second day I got it. Mine's on the left, the YJ is my pop's.

Tell your pops to get rid of some of that chrome and he'll be alright.

lol unfortunatly he bought it like that. I've been tellin him since he got it to get rid of the the tube bumpers and the all chrome. The first thing I did to mine was paint the chrome headlight bezels. But I'm going to Lakeland in Mattoon Illinois. It's nothing special, just a community college to get my prereqs out of the way

haha i'll tell him to look into it. He's been thinking about putting a 327 chevy small block in it along w/ lift and tires. The square headlights and chrome is probably the last thing he's worried about unfortunately. lol

Haha nice conversion. Need a passenger side drop front axle for that, right?

That sounds cool. How's the money for that type of job when you are first starting out?
