Well I never really step on em, they're more of a liability than a convenience when i'm wheelin, and they look kind of "grandpa-ish" lol plus when I took em off it made the jeep look a little taller

Haha. The lack there of does make it look taller. Oh and mine are broken to pieces from falling on rocks and stuff. But I Rock them anyways! I use mine damn near all the time. There handy for reaching across the roof too

I got to wheel a built 08 rubi for a summer while the girls dad that owned it was away for 3 months. Drove it almost daily off road. Other than being gutless I have always wanted one. Don't let the buttons trick you.

I'm sure you could make a beefier set using the steel tube brackets that bolt to the frame if the plastic is cracked/broken. Just get some diamond plate or something like that and weld em or bolt em on to the brackets! and maybe bedline it after that to give it more texture so you don't slip

Well my first few I did for free.. You kinda have to bite the bullet and wait a little bit. But once you are able to mix and beatmatch starting out I would probably charge about $100 for the first hour and $50 for every hour after that (as a rough estimate). There is a lot of money to be made DJing but the problems is finding gigs for paying people.

The gig I have coming up in June a fellow DJ and I set up and we are charging admission, for glowsticks and for food but we are only really hoping to break even for our total cost.

Once you get good, you could easily make like $500+ a gig (for a few hours) and by then a few hours will be nothing.

You shouldn't be putting the words nice and jeep in the same sentence

Don't let your jeep here that, she might all of the sudden stop working and then have her period all over the garage floor.

I mean its still a Jeep at heart, but I drove an 09 Rubi in Texas this summer and it just didn't seem like a Jeep to me cus there were so many electronics and touch screen stuff, speakers in the door, power windows/locks.. I mean hell, how do I take the doors off and keep power doors and windows?

That and they're not simple like my Tj. Im safe and comfortable taking apart my drive train and parts now, but I feel like theres so many sensors and electronics I'd be afraid to mess with a JK

If I had the ability to paint my jeep any color I wanted, what color would it be? This has been on my mind lately since my black paint is very sun damaged, if I ever had the money to repaint it, what color should I paint it??

Fortunately, I didn't have to go that long without driving mine. I tried to drive it every time I was home from college. So now it's summer and I get to spend every day driving it
