Guess I'm good as far as color vision goes. Unfortunately there are a lot of other things I might need to be tested for.

I don't need to take the test. My wife tells me I am color blind and I know she is always right.

I'm red/green also. It's a rip off because we can see most colors, it's just the shading differences where most of the problem is. Worst thing is you can never be a commercial pilot or military pilot. You can fly in daytime but you have to take a color test to be signed off for night time flying.

I've heard that only men can be color blind. Anyone know if that's true?

If you are red/green color blind, you cannot operate a nuclear power plant. All valve, pump status, and breaker postion indications are red and green lights............

I can see the 16 in the first test plate.. then that's it, no more numbers.
From the second link, I can only see what it says a colorblind person should see... nothing the color normal people should see. So am I red/green, yellow/blue.. pretty much everything? I was tested and failed years ago so its nothing new.

It makes shopping for clothes a challenge. I dont have a clue what goes with what. I have a LOT of solids and a ton of khakis.

Primary colors aren't the problem. From what I understand it involves more colors like in wiring. So many different shades to cut and blow you up I guess. Was that the red wire with the pink strip or white stripe.

Nope, its just the shades of red/green that are a issue.

Even the full color blind people which is extremely rare, just memorize the color positions on the stop lights.

Both those tests are for blue/green color blindness tests.

From what iv read women are carriers of the color blind gene but most wont be color blind, they just pass it onto their sons and sometimes their daughters.

I think women are the ones who made us color blind, its the first steps to taking over the world.

Lol, I always told me if I dident stop id go blind -.- LOL

Lev you told them? Now I don't feel special that I'm the only one that knew. Oh well, you're not the only one.
